Well would you? Does the thought of a man packing heat and being capable of putting rounds on target at a moment's notice turn you off, do nothing, or turn you on?

It would depend on why he had it. If we lived out in the woods where wild animals can be dangerous and unpredictable, I might be grateful for it. A friend with a gun saved my life once when I was living in the mountains.

On the other hand, I am not comfortable with guys who would own guns to use against non-aggressive animals, even for food, or against other people regardless of the situation.

Whether or not it'd turn me on or off really depends. I'm not against dating someone with a gun. I'm only against dating serial killers. That's actually one of my only policies.
...And rapists.

Neutral.

I suppose in a way its a turn on, but it depends on the guy. If he looks like a gangster? No thanks. If he's just your typical guy that loves being outdoors and being in the backwoods, sure.

The ENTP I've been sorta dating lately has all sorts of weapons, including guns.

I can't imagine why I wouldn't. I have, and certainly would again. It is not a turn off nor a turn on for me.

Generally, I'd rather have he have a gun. It doesn't necessarily turn me on, but it's an issue of self-defense and security. Growing up, I slept well knowing there was a .44 loaded with hollow points in Dad's nightstand and knowing he damn well knew how to use it. Actually that's probably more of an issue for me. Anyone can buy a gun and keep it next to the bed/under the car seat/etc., but being able to use it effectively is the key.

The guy I'm with doesn't own any guns, and to be honest, I'd rather be the one packing heat. I grew up in a house full of guns and I know how to handle them; my marksmanship is nothing to sneeze at either.

I learned to shoot at 11 my step dad is giving me a SR-25 7.62x51 NATO sniper , M4a2 5.56 NATO carbine with m68 reddot sights and a mk23 .45 when I turn 18. I grew up in a family who are pro-gun my marksmanship is superior but I would prefer not to use one unless the assailants using one . Hand to hand combat is pretty effiecnt I like ladies who are good at hand to hand or have excellent marksmanship and a nice 9mm

Why not? I have a good many myself. I've yet to date a guy that's been turned off by that either.

It scares me. I suffered from PTSD as a child, because my mom, a bunch of other people and I all got robbed at gun point at the place we were living when I was young.. I will never forget that feeling.

The thought of dating a guy holding a gun just scares me.

Although, I did date a guy who owned about 5 (he used to answer the door holding a gun), I broke up with him within less than six months or so. I can't be with someone that paranoid, and most of all, I refuse to be around anything that resembles that situation I had to endure during that period of my life. No thanks.

Question is, why would you have a gun unless you were in the police force or the military? Oh, cultural differences. Nevermind.

^ Your countries are wierd. Citizens can't own guns that easily, but you get a lot of helpful socialism. It sounds like a fairly good trade. Besides, nobody is legislating against using an ax or a sword on an intruder.

I'm impressed at a lot of ladies. My house sucks, because my parents are anti-gun and they don't want me to be armed. Something about me using it when I'm pissed off. I can't even bring myself to hit back against my brother when I'm angry, so a gun is strickly for defense, sport, and hunting. Ad believe me, I would not have an issue with putting a 7.62X39 JHP round through the face of an armed robber. It's me or you and I'd rather keep breathing.

That sucks. I've had a gun pointed at me that I thought was going to be used to take my life, and it is truly terrifying. I definitely relate. See, that's why it all depends for me. If he would even consider killing or threatening a person, for any reason, even if it was in self-defense, I'm pretty sure I would be scared of him.

But if we lived in the woods somewhere, I could see a gun being more of a practical thing for scaring away large, aggressive animals. Any fear would come from the negative potential of having it used in the wrong kind of situation. I would have to trust the person completely in order to be comfortable with it.

I guess living in a country where it's illegal to carry a gun around without a "proper" reason means that that is that. Anyway I only go for guys that can render a baddy unconscious in a crowded street without anyone even noticing with his bare hands.. while we slip back into the crowds and go about our day like nothing happened. Slim pickings though..hhmmfff.

When I was a kid I had a thing for guys with a bow and arrows. We made these bows ourselves, sharpened a few sticks, and then ran around the neighborhood pretending we were hunters. The hottest guys were the ones who made the best bows that could fling that arrow the farthest. I don't think I ever emotionally matured up to guns.

But all men have a gun.

(Just thought I'd say)

Well, I'm not really into the idea of using genitals as weapons, if that is what you mean, but here is something I drew a while back.

I dislike the word "vagina" for this reason:
1680s, from L. vagina "sheath, scabbard" (pl. vaginae)
