Hello I very much enjoy anime and I like knowing what Anime Characters are ENTP's to help us identity ourselves! I've gone through many forums and noted down the ENTP's people generally agree with, open to dispute if you feel that any here don't belong.
Bold Letters are Stereotypical ETNP's or ENTP's that are generally accepted to be ENTP's by the community. thanks to all those who helped identify the types
Feel free to add some of your own, or discuss your favorite ENTP's character that you can relate to!

We get to see a slither of Yahiko's personality in Naruto, I lean towards ENFP.

Orochimaru is very hard to type but I can see ENTP.

Sokka from Avatar, yes.
Bumi from Avatar - likely, but he is absolutely insane so I don't want to say yes just because of that possible Ne influence.

Calcifer from Howl's Moving Castle, likely.

Kisuke from Bleach, I think so.
Shunsui from Bleach, I don't really think so, but I can't put my finger on why. He doesn't come across as abstract to me, and he is quite low energy. I'd lean towards ENFJ more likely.

I know some you definitely need are Madara Uchiha from Naruto, Roy Mustang from FMA, and Prussia from Hetalia. Madara and Prussia are pretty much indefinitely accepted throughout the community. The same with Roy Mustang, but he's a tad bit more disputed from what I've seen.
The anime this character is from isn't very well known, but I'd also add Lee Geun-Tae from Akatsuki no Yona.

These, I have a slight problem with. If anyone cares to read. I'd definitely be interested in discussing them to truly determine their types. But some of these, I will not budge on.

Kira -Death Note Is Kira a separate character now? You can't be talking about Light, right? He's extremely INTJ.
Yahiko - Naruto shippuden? Tbh I can go either way, but I'd say more ENFP.
Edward - FMA possibly INFJ I would also say ENTP with a heavy Ti influence, he's definitely not an INFJ though.
Orochimaru - Naruto He's more INTP, definitely more INTP.
Meryl Trigun R-really...? Merly? Sh-...she's an F. She's an ExFJ FOR GOODNESS SAKE.
Sanji - One Piece He's an ESFJ, I'm 100% certain, that beautiful man.
Ed's Father? - FMA I'd say he's an S, but I can't tell much more than that.
Lau - Black Butler I'd also say he's an xSxP, but it's hard to tell. I'm willing to go with ENTP.
Calcifer - Howl's Moving Castle I know a lot of people like to say he's an ENTP, but I legitimately don't see it.
Shunsui - Bleach I always saw him more of an ENFJ, I could be wrong, but I get such a strong vibe from him that's so much like an ENFJ.
England - Hetalia INFJ maybe I don't know what exactly he is, but he is most 1000% definitely NOT an ENTP. I can see him as an ESTJ. He's not an INFJ, can you see an INFJ getting THAT pissed over the most mundane *cough*France*cough* of frivolous things?)
Cuba - Hetalia Wh- what, no? He's an F.
Turkey - Hetalia Hold on. (I do wonder what he is though)
Poland - Hetalia WHAT THE HECK WITH THE HETALIA, Poland is SUCH an ESFP.
Break - Pandora Hearts I've always seen him more of an ISTP, but ENTP also works for me.
Trafalgar Law - One Piece He's definitely an IxTJ, do you see how Low Key, he is? Do you think an ENTP could be THAT low key even if they tried?
Donflamingo - One piece For this I can also KINDA see ENTP, but I would definitely say ESTP for this.

And as a side note, I'd also like to see what people think about Gol D. Roger. I have a really strong feeling that he's an ENTP.

Sanjis is ENFJ, my friend:

My Sanji ENFJ post:

Doflamingo is actually ENTP just like Usopp:

Trafalgar Law is INTJ and a Ni dom in my opinion.

Oh, yes definitely @Librarian, I have.

Not too big at all! There are many that I'd recommend. Some of them are very long, but are still very much worth it.
Heck, why don't I just give you a masterlist of shows that I've watched? There are probably more that I need to add, but tbh this is overkill enough.

I'm so sorry for this absolute shitpost. (please don't report this as spam *sobbing*)

Really Well Known: (These are usually where the really long but still really good ones are.)
Avatar the last Airbender (is that an anime?)
Attack on Titan
Black Butler
Bleach*
Cowboy Bebop
D. Gray Man
Death Note
Fairy Tail*
Free!
Full Metal Alchemist/Brotherhood
Haikyuu
Hellsing/Ultimate
Hetalia
High School of the Dead
Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple
Kuroko no Basket
Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (very bloody and disturbing, just in case you don't like that)
Lucky Star
The Melancholoy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Naruto*
Nana
Negima
Neon Genisis Evangelion
One Piece*
One-Punch Man
Ouran High School Host Club
Soul Eater
Tokyo Ghoul
XXXholic

*These are the ones that are especially long (that I remember).

Well Known: (Aka typically not as well known to those who just passerby watch anime nowadays, especially the older ones.)
Angel Beats
Berserk*
Black Rock Shooter
Darker than Black*
Deadman Wonderland*
Elfen Lied (it's bloody though, if you're not into that)
Fate/Stay Night*
Fruits Basket
Howl's Moving Castle*
Madoka Magica (prepared to have you heart ripped out)
Magi*
Magi: Adventures of Sinbad*
Mushi-shi*
Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt (eh, it's alright I guess. It's not my cup of tea.)
Princess Tutu
Rosario+Vampire
Samuri Chamloo*
School Rumble*
Spice and Wolf*
Spirited Away*
Squid Girl
Trigun*
Trinity Blood*

*My favorites.

Not as Well Known:
Akatsuki no Yona (LOVE this one)
Pandora Hearts (LOVE this one)
Black Blood Brothers
Black Bullet*
Blood+ (LOVE this one)
Chobits
Corpse Princess*
Dance in the Vampire Bund (never finished it though)
Eden of the East*
Gunslinger Girl*
Last Exile
Moon Phase (nostalgia hit so hard when I remembered this one)
Nabari No Ou
Noir*
Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji
Vandread*
Whichblade*

*For some of these, it's just been so long that I don't even remember what they were. But all of these, I've enjoyed.

Ones That I Haven't Seen, But I Really Want to and Have Heard Good Things About:
Ao no Exorcist
Baccano
Black Lagoon
Code Geass
Death Parade (I REALLY REALLY want to watch this one)
Durarara
Future Diary (Also bloody I think. There's a serious Yandere in this one, but I love her.)
Ghost in the Shell
Gintama
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
Guilty Crown
Guren Lagann
Inuyasha
Nisemonogatari (I started it but sadly never got to finish this.)
Kyoukai no Kanata
Parasyte
Princess Mononoke
Psycho Pass
Steins Gate
Sword Art Online

I also suggest not to get intimidated with the length of some of these. One Piece especially I've hear that many people are deterred by the shear amount of episodes, but don't let it. I binged it and finished all the episodes (604 at the time) in less than a month (think I did it between two and two and a half weeks). It's seriously worth it. And the funny thing is is that I actually saw my understanding of Japanese increase by the end of it! XD

(*still sobbing*) What have I DONE? And why do I feel like there need to be MORE?!

Kisame from Naruto and Nagachika Hideyoshi (definitely) from Tokyo Ghoul are also ENTPs. (Kisame is just widely regarded as one, I actually haven't given him much thought, but I see nothing wrong with the assessment.)

And I know that there are more that I'm forgetting again, but I just can't remember. (Ukai from Haikyuu is also considered an ENTP, and I can see that I guess. I really don't know. It's between ESTP and ENTP for me. Yeah, I guess ENTP would be good.)

I'll add more as I remember them I guess, because I know the one's I'm forgetting are very much regarded as ENTPs.

Edit: SINBAD! HOW COULD I FORGET SINBAD FROM MAGI?!
Edit: And Minato from Naruto ;)

Thanks for taking the time to write all that out, lol :)

You've seen an impressive amount of shows, I've only seen a handful of them so I have a lot of series ahead of me.

I've recently grown more accepting of longer shows, I saw the masterpiece Monster 70+ eps) not long ago. I'm still wary of One Piece but maybe I should take the plunge.

The shows I've heard of but haven't checked out yet, but I will now that you brought them up: Trigun, Spice and Wolf, Last Exile, Eden of the East (really want to see),Mushi Shi, Samurai Champloo.

You also brought up many I haven't heard of, looks like it's time I do my "research" (My anime list) and figure out what these mystery shows are all about. Especially intrigued by: D Gray Man, Noir, free!, Akatsuki no Yona, Pandora Hearts, Moon Phase,Vandread, Kyoukai No Katana. Thanks especially for mentioning these unknowns.

I definitely recommend The Girl who Leapt Through Time; it was the first anime I saw thanks to YouTube, but maybe I'm biased towards it for being the first. I'd still argue it's a nice film, though, with a likable lead, simple engaging story and a pretty good dub(but again, I could be biased on the dub.)

I'd also encourage you to watch Steins Gate (only seen one episode so far but it had a great setup), and Code Geass if you're willing to forgive inconsistencies. The show basically has a mind blowing plot twist at the end of each episode, some well executed, some not, but the last episode of this show... hoo boy, the last episode of this show! I've never seen a more incredible series ending, it's so good and impacting and as perfect as it gets. Definitely avoid spoilers, you don't want to ruin this one.

@Librarian No problem! It was surprisingly fun (and nostalgic) to make! (and thank goodness years ago, I made a similar list!)

And with shows like One Piece, I suggest not to think to much about the length (although with One Piece I admit that's a little hard). Because if it is really interesting, then you don't mind watching it, and end up being really thankful that there's so much interesting stuff left to go. (Tbh now that I think of it when I first started it, I don't remember thinking too much about the length other than "Dang, that's long," because my main focus was on being skeptical if I was really going to get into it. I just took it into steps. Watched all of the English dub, then all the English sub, then continued on with the manga. I do that for many that are very long and still continuous.) But I do recommend watching some shorter ones first I guess, because once you get into One Piece, that is going to be a very long ride my friend.

But oh, man. You mentioned some top tier ones to get interested in! I highly recommend all of those! (Probably a good idea to watch some of those before you watch the beast that is One Piece.)

Same, I first heard of The Girl who Leapt Through Time through Youtube. I've only watched AMVs though.

Thanks a lot for your own recommendations! Oh, yeah Code Geass. Through AMVs ans ASMVs, I've seen one certain spoiler that's probably near the end of the show (of a certain certain someone's death, but that won't deter me!). I've tried starting that, but I ended up not going very far. I don't doubt how good it is though! (btw, if you like Code Geass, I recommend watching Code Geass Abridged by PurpleEyesWTF on Youtube. I watched his None Piece (abridged of One Piece) and he's really hilarious!)

Good luck! ;)

I've been spoiled on a few things with One Piece actually (let's just say I once did a research project on siblings/birth order as typically portrayed in fiction. I didn't care too much about anime back then, so I had no qualms about learning the plots of the band of brothers in this show... yeah, I think you know where this is going, or rather where I went!) Not that this would ever stop me from the show though; the clips I saw during my project impressed me with how dynamic the sibling relationships were; actually a lot of anime is like that, and I admit to being a sucker for sibling stories.

I'm actually curious to which character you saw die in a Code Geass amv (not that I'm asking you to spoil it for anyone else, lol.)

Seriously, by the time this show ends, a lot of people are dead. Then, you have the "dead" characters. You know the type: character A dies in a dramatic manner, he/she can't possibly survive and then BAM! Alive! And often- For no. Reason. Really, no reason; as in, they are alive and do nothing for the plot, they just show up and stay in the background and you're left guessing why anyone thought Character A needed to return. Come on! Why does Character A survive and Not Character B? Character A was brutally killed but returns, so anyone can, right? No? Any reason? At all?

Writers?

Um, writers of Code Geass?

You can't just ditch me, I sat through the middle of Season 2, it was painful and you deny me? Sure, the finale made up for it but I want answers!

Why is character A still breathing? Or character D, for that matter? Or X, S, L, M or W?

I. Want. ANSWERS!

Sigh. I like Code Geass but the insanity and anomalies get me frustrated. Such are the struggles of being an Anime fan, I guess.

Whatever, I'll just look up those abridged vids you mentioned to cleanse my anime viewing soul (;
