As an INFJ I've found that the some of the best company and friendships I've had are ENFPs. However, I'm not sure where to go to seek out more friendships. Does anyone have any ideas?

What comes to mind are yoga classes where instructors are ENFPs but after that I'm kind of lost.

Thanks.

Choirs and church if you’re into it. Cooking classes at the community center. Art movie night at the library.

We love learning new things so any kind of art class or seminars.

How old you are kind of matters I would think. Are you looking while at a University?
I know I could find a bunch of us in local theater, book clubs, writing groups, etc.

That, and the gym. Also festivals, community gardens, skateparks and internet cafes.

I've been out of school for some time so I would need meet people in public venues somewhere. I can definitely see ENFPs at a theater :)

Thanks. I'm a bit too old for skate parks but your other recommendations might work for me.

I'm usually the one forgetting my keys at a restaurant, forgetting my phone at the library and tripping over my own foot on the sidewalk - lost in thoughts on a bench somewhere writing in a notebook

In all seriousness- I tend to enjoy theaters- museums, zoos, cafes, bakeries , shopping center - love people watching, hiking , the library/bookstore etc but I'm usually somewhere close to home- unless it's the weekends

Start or join an INFJ meetup in your area, it won't be long before an ENFP crashes it.
I agree with this, start an MBTI meetup and ENFPs will just find it. It's what we do. You might also want to try an online dating service but just set your profile so you're looking for "just friends" and you could probably find some ENFPs that way. P.S. Advertise that you're an INFJ, we like you.

I'll add one more thing, Projectevolove (Google it) is a great place to meet certain MBTI types. That's where I met Christina the INFJ, who has been a very good friend of mine as she was also on the site looking for an ENFP (and I was specifically there to find an INFJ).

We all have such varied interests and you won't find any two ENFPs in the same places.

What are your interests and hobbies? I am sure there are ENFPs that share them they just might be going about appreciating them in a different way to you.

Any types of persons could be anywhere and ENFP isn't that rare type so you'll definitely find them :) Question is more about how well you can identify them as we come in very various forms and don't always look like type descriptions describe from outside :)

If you want you can Skype me.
Where I usually hangout: skateparks, movie theatre, dance classes (especially hip hop I have found many ENFPs), choir university, trampoline parks, bowling, hostels, anything a bit far out,

Thanks for your help everyone. It's nice getting input from the very type I would like to meet in person.

I thought of creating a meetup. Maybe I'll give it a try. With such a group I think ENFPs would sort of be a requirement, lol. At least that's my humble opinion :)

Quite literally say for your group that you'd like some ENFPs to join. We wouldn't consider that off-putting at all and with our enthusiasm we'd probably just go "Hey great! I'll do it!"

I would say that ENFPs are the most open minded personality type, then of course it depends from person to person but if I were you I would not be worried about talking to anyone who is an ENFP probably won't judge. I have had people I don't know talk to me on public transportation and at times I was actually really happy about it, why not?

Thanks Ele30. It's nice to hear ENFPs probably won't judge. This should give me more confidence if I approach someone or point an INFJ group out there.

Thanks Moby. If I create an INFJ meetup I'll certainly do this.

Take your pick of all locations. Whatever fancies our Ne.

In a specific area like *cough* a cafe', you'll find me sketching my coffee cup as steam rises from it on one pad and on another pad scribbled notes on thermodynamics with using steam or a water condensation machine to create safe drinking water in areas that lack it.

Yeah, I sat in a class, that I wasn't signed up for in college at A&M for giggles because I was fascinated with learning from the professor. It was Steven Hawkings. Needless to say, my Ne was below.

I adore cooking, winemaking, honey collecting, Entomology, art, movies, comics, sailing, camping, hunting, reading, Botany, Astrobiology/ExoBiology, the study of ASPD, cosplay, photography, history, and last I LOVE Physics. Probably other smaller things are in there like cloud gazing but it's hard just to pick one.

Oh my gosh! You sat in on a class of Steven Hawkings!

I also used to sit in on classes--- especially my senior year I learned I could really get everything I wanted to out of it all. I'd talk to professors ahead of time or just ask if I could go with a friend to a class that sounded interesting to me. So I love that we have this in common! I like to say it's like we "figured it out" and there was no obligation. I didn't have to do homework.
But Steven Hawking!!!! Is there any particular thing that you remember from it that you could share with us?

Just reading this is so inspirational to your fellow ENFP typing here that it's a borderline sexual level of excitement to learn of some of these things too!

P.S. I said borderline, didn't cross the line ;)
