Love Letter to the ESFJs - You are EPIC

It's high time you guys have gotten one of these. You're so hated on simply because people listen to stereotypes. Interestingly enough, most people say that their parents (specifically mothers) are ESFJs. All the issues they bring up have nothing to do with type. @[email protected] Anyway.

You guys are awesome. I love how you care for other people, usually. I love how you guys lead with Fe. That makes for a really interesting person. :) I have a mother who is an ESFJ, although I actually have a good story. I know that a healthy ESFJ is absolutely wonderful. There's no excuse for not getting along with them. ;) You're usually pretty tender hearted.

And then there's this down-to-earth side that I love... I know my mother has taught me a lot. Not that I'm saying all ESFJs are my mother. That would be totally wrong. But I am here to acknowledge that most of the time, just like every other personality type, you guys are actually epic and unique in your strengths.

Your strengths are important ones. You're awesome. Don't forget it. ^^

I'm a ESFJ guy, I do my best to help others and its nice to get a thank you of some king every once and a while. ill tell you though there are down sides to being a ESFJ. some times I argue will my feeling and not facts. good at arguing morals but not if arguing facts. in the end I do all I can to help. I just wish other types realized nothing is stopping them from helping others too. not saying they none dont. but just saying.

Not arguing facts doesn't necessarily have to do with type. ;) But morals are very important, you're right. I agree with you on that one. ^^
I have a ESFJ Mother and two ESFJ friends. I do believe that yes you don't get thanked enough. Dont let it discourage you though! even if it is not said, deep down most if not all are truly thankful. The world would all fall apart if we didn't have the ESFJ's. You are very caring and i envy your willingness to help everyone.

Thank you for this! Even though not many of us are around to say it, we really appreciate this post in what sometimes feels like a sea of negativity on this forum.

My best friend is an ENFP and the fact that you started a thread to say thanks makes you and all ENFPs THAT much more awesome in my eyes! Thank YOU, my friend ;)

My oldest sister is an ESFJ and she is pretty awesome.

She can however at times be pretty demanding, but I love her!
My little brother is an ESFJ and I love him so much. He is bubbly and bursting with extroverted enthusiasm, but he is a true friend to his core. I was -ahem- stalking his facebook page and he and his friends had been doing this "the truth is..." game of sorts. His friends poked fun at him for always calling them and being annoying, but thanked him for his loyalty and steadfastness as a friend. It's even more touching because he is a high school senior and will be departing from these friends shortly due to college.

Agh, why is this giving me the warm fuzzies? Haha!
