I don't really feel "love at first sight“, though while working with a girl on class assignments over the course of a few weeks, I felt like I love her. This is something I haven't felt before, and it was very unexpected. I didn't tell her my feelings, or attempt to get a relationship going, because we were due to graduate (and likely go separate paths) in less than a year. Looking back, it's silly not to pay attention to something so significant, though that was how I felt. Now, whenever there is a girl who tries to "capture my heart", I feel excited, but also sleepless and a bit empty.

I use Ni-Se, visual temperament and physical intimacy love language, while the girls that seek to "capture the heart" tend to be of the visual temperament and affirmation love language. I don't feel this attempt to "capture the heart" coming from girls using other love languages, like physical intimacy or quality time. I didn't know it's possible to have the heart be captured, and haven't heard anything about it. I thought "having the heart taken" or "loving once in a lifetime" are just ideas from fairy tales. Now that my heart is captured, it does not mean I don't love or can't be loyal, just that this requires a new level of awareness and appreciation.

I wonder if the ability to have the heart be captured be specific to users of Ni-Se, and that maybe Ne-Si users experience the "love at first sight", so what are your opinions or personal experiences?

Is Ni-Se associated with feeling love, intensely for one time through prolonged association with a person, while Ne-Si feels the love at first-sight?

This isn't something that can be categorized by typology. I'm an Ne-Si user and I can most assuredly state that, for me, it takes time for affection to turn to love. I've been in love only twice in 15 years

I think Ne-Si people tend to get "love at first sight", while Ni-Se people feel the "heart is taken". This might be divided by people who are skill-oriented or creative-oriented.

You can read up on skill-oriented or creative intuitives in this thread: People who seek to increase skills and knowledge, and people who seek to improve
