Okay, I'm on a John Butler Trio kick so here is one:

Better Than

All you want is
What you can't have and if ya'
Just look around man
You'll see you got magic

So just, sit back and relax
Enjoy it while you still have it
Don't, look back on life man
And only see tragic because

chorus:
You can be better than that
Don't let it get the better of you
What could be better than that
Life's not about what's better than

You can be better than that
Don't let it get the better of you
What could be better than that
Life's not about what's better

All the time while ya' lookin' away
There are, things you can do man
There's things you can say
Unto the, the ones your with
With whom you're spending the day
Get your, gaze off tomorrow
And come on and maybe, because

chorus

Oh, I know, sometimes
Things can be hard
But you should know, by now
They come and they go so why
Oh why do I
Look to the other side, 'cause I know
The grass is greener
But, just as hard to mow
Life's not about what's better than

All you want is
What you can't have
And if ya' just look around man
You'll see you got magic

So just, sit back and relax
Enjoy it while you still have it
Don't, look back on life man
And only see tragic because

The whole damn thing. I'm going through a separation and it's a great reminder and inspiration. Since I happen to be future oriented in my thinking I like the part where he sings, "Get your gaze off tomorrow" Sometimes we need to be reminded that there is magic all around us right here and now.

Okay, here is another that I hold near and dear. The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegroove by Dead Can Dance:

I thought that you knew it all
Well you've seen it ten times before.
I thought that you had it down
With both your feet on the ground.
I love slow ... slow but deep.
Feigned affections wash over me.
Dream on my dear
And renounce temporal obligations.
Dream on my dear
It's a sleep from which you may not awaken.
You build me up then you knock me down.
You play the fool while I play the clown.
We keep time to the beat of an old slave drum.
You raise my hopes then you raise the odds
You tell me that I dream too much
Now I'm serving time in disillusionment.
I don't believe you anymore ... I don't believe you.
I thought that I knew it all
I'd seen all the signs before.
I thought that you were the one
In darkness my heart was won.
You build me up then you knock me down.
You play the fool while I play the clown.
We keep time to the beat of an old slave drum.
You raise my hopes then you raise the odds
You tell me that I dream too much
Now I'm serving time in a domestic graveyard.
I don't believe you anymore ... I don't believe you.
Never let it be said I was untrue
I never found a home inside of you.
Never let it be said I was untrue
I gave you all my time.

Um, if you've read some of the descriptions for INFJ...you'll get it. We are slow to love, but love deep. We give our all to the relationship and we are loyal. This song came to me during a break-up from a bad relationship.

I have indeed read the descriptions. Read the INTJ description. You should know there are profound similarities between both types, divided only by T/F factors.
The same opinions can be translated to either type based on the premise that feelings are replaced for logical reasoning (or vice versa).
I've encountered this repeatedly with my Uncle.
I shall call the INFJ type, The Sonny Complex . (I, robot reference)

Um... *sudden buzzing noise*
I'm not free to divulge such information at this present moment.
*buzzing*
I have to go buy some milk.

"I Will Follow You Into The Dark" by Death Cab For Cutie

Love of mine some day you will die
But I'll be close behind
I'll follow you into the dark

No blinding light or tunnels to gates of white
Just our hands clasped so tight
Waiting for the hint of a spark
If heaven and hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

In Catholic school as vicious as Roman rule
I got my knuckles bruised by a lady in black
And I held my tongue as she told me
"Son fear is the heart of love"
So I never went back

If heaven and hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

You and me have seen everything to see
From Bangkok to Calgary
And the soles of your shoes are all worn down
The time for sleep is now
It's nothing to cry about
Cause we'll hold each other soon
The blackest of rooms

If heaven and hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark
Then I'll follow you into the dark

I wish. I just really like this song because it sort of summarizes my life in general. But in the end it's usually one sided.

Shelter From The Storm
By Bob Dylan

'Twas in another lifetime, one of toil and blood
When blackness was a virtue and the road was full of mud
I came in from the wilderness, a creature void of form.
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

If I pass this way again, you can rest assured
I'll always do my best for her, on that I give my word
In a world of steel-eyed death, and men who are fighting to be warm.
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

Not a word was spoke between us, there was no risk involved
Nothing up to that point had even been resolved.
Try imagining a place where it's always safe and warm.
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

I was burned out from exhaustion, buried in the hail,
Poisoned in the bushes an' blown out on the trail,
Hunted like a crocodile, ravaged in the corn.
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

Suddenly I turned around and she was standin' there
With silver bracelets on her wrists and flowers in her hair.
She walked up to me so gracefully and took my crown of thorns.
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

Now the bonds are broken, but they can be retied
By one more journey to the woods, the holes where spirits hide.
It's a never-ending battle for a peace that's always torn.
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

Well, the deputy walks on hard nails and the preacher rides a mount
But nothing really matters much, it's doom alone that counts
And the one-eyed undertaker, he blows a futile horn.
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

Now, I've heard newborn babies cryin' like a mournin' dove
And old men with broken teeth stranded without love.
Do I understand your question, man, is it hopeless and forlorn?
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

Now there's a wall between us, somethin' there's been lost
I took too much for granted, I got my signals crossed.
Just to think that it all began on a non-eventful morn.
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

In a little hilltop village, they gambled for my clothes
I bargained for salvation an' they gave me a lethal dose.
I offered up my innocence and got repaid with scorn.
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

Well, I'm livin' in a foreign country but I'm bound to cross the line
Beauty walks a razor's edge, someday I'll make it mine.
If I could only turn back the clock to when God and her were born.
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

mhhh The ditty bops - Growing upside down perhaps ?

h.ttp://www.deezer.com/track/773540

Can't escape a past
That wasn't ever lived
All beginnings ended
Come back to start again
And the people seem to falter
As they watch you fall asunder
Eyes are open and filled with wonder
I'm growing upside down
Wisdom doesn't follow
Just because you've aged
Add a pinch of cinnamon
It will make you sage
There will be an hour
When we'll meet again
Maybe I won't recognize
You in different skin
I can hear you whispering
Beneath the din it reels me in
Just as the summer melts winter ice
Temptations come to tempt you twice
You spent too many of
you're younger days
Wishing you weren't virgin to her ways
