Hi,

I’m an ENFP married to an ISFJ for many years. As might be expected, I’m interested in change, variety, sensual overload, and maximizing connection and intimacy. My wife, also as expected, is interested in constancy, normalcy, and simplifying the sensual experience to one or two senses. Basically, we have very different ideas about sex and what is emotionally important with regard to sex. Talking about sex is a bonding activity to me and a red flag to her. We have a seriously hard time talking about sex because she ends up feeling threatened and I end up feeling rejected. As a result, we rarely talk about sex and when we do, it's an emotional drain.

So any good advice out there? Any ENFP/ISFJ couples making it work?
