Hello readers, how are you?
I'll try to make this as brief as possible while still revealing some basic demographics (whatever that may entail on this forum  ).
According to three different Jung-Briggs personality profilers I have taken over the past two years, all three yielded the same result: INFJ. To be perfectly honest upon reading a synopsis of this type (from personalitypage.com) I assumed that each summary would be nearly identical for each type; some minor differences in choice of words between all the types, but still holding the ability to make the reader believe he/she is unique, one-of-a-kind in the world. The line reading something like "rarest of all the types" made me feel less special, because I immediately felt that, because of the natural hypersensitivity of this type, the writer of the text was in a way obligated to mention something of that extreme to entice the reader, or make them believe that they are in fact special. But now, my thoughts surrounding Jung typing are much less cynical (which is saying a lot coming from me
).
What else? I am an 18 year old male, which apparently adds to the "special" factor of being an INFJ. Sometimes I wish I would have been born a girl, because it would give me a legitimate excuse for my moodiness and bizarre intuition that most of my close friends even still do not understand. I really, truly hate saying it...but I feel that even when I give countless opportunities, nobody truly understands me.
Writing has always captured my interest, because I feel that text allows me to organize my series of incoherent thought in a more practical, understandable way.
I apologize for the unbriefness of this post...and will hopefully catch on to rhythm of these forums. This post will most likely be edited in the near future to allow for more interesting discussion. Until then, thank you for reading.
