Oh, I remember when they made that movie. Talked a lot with the screenwriter while they were working on it. My brother knows him better than I do though. But no, haven't seen the movie. I don't like foreign movies (I'm Norwegian myself, so it's not really foreign, but it feels foreign. I guess I don't like hearing my own language on TV).
Yeah, I saw it in the cinema some years ago. I quite enjoyed it, and it was especially thrilling to know that it was based on real people. Unlike the two before me I have no problems hearing my own language on television, and though I must admit that many Nordic films are considered strange, I don't think Max Manus is all that strange. I remember that by the end of the film when they showed the pictures of the real people and told us in writing what happened to them later in life, the entire audience fell silent. It was a weird experience.
