I know these three are somewhat correlated to each other (eg. Aries/Fire dominant = ESTP, or Se/Te (ESFP in dom/tert loop) 8w7 8-7-3 SLuEn Choleric/Sanguine Basic "Type A" Personality)

I'm Aries by sign, fire as my dominant element with earth as 2nd (a bit far behind fire) & based on astrology, I supposed to be more masculine, energetic, social, outgoing, adventurous, spontaneous, confident, flirt, liberal, impulsive, wishy-washy, irresponsible, non-committal & reckless (my natal chart has overwhelming difficult aspects) but in my case, I definitely relate more to my MBTI & enneagram than to my zodiac sign & dominant element. I'm ISTJ, 6w5, RCOAN Melancholic type & its not just me but all people I know in real life also told me that I'm very serious, old-fashioned, loner, rigid, lack energy, confidence & spontaneity and that I'm inflexible. Even my parents told me that I need to go out more & get a life but I'm totally happy being alone at home. Love documentaries & hate movies or anything fiction. I'm not even close to being energetic & I definitely hate crowds, parties & find socializing a total waste of time instead of doing something more productive.

I know astrology isn't rocket science but I personally know many people who does live with the qualities of their sun sign/dominant element. And those people I know who happen to be of the same element & polarity get along with each other more than their counterparts. I never judge anyone based on their sign & do my best to get along with anyone but in my experience I gel more with people of the earth signs (Virgo dad, friends, Capricorn grandfather, bestfriend, Taurus friends) and water signs (especially Scorpios) while at the same time I have trouble understanding the behaviors & attitudes of my fellow Aries co-workers & relatives, one of my male classmates who bullied me a lot in school before is an Aries, totally dislike Geminis in my life (untrustworthy, liars, flaky, fraud & immature), find Leo co-workers & relatives too annoying, draining (attention seekers) & bossy, Sagittarius co-workers too immature, crazy though I like their ability to make everyone laugh in times of stress, sadness or frustration, Aquarius co-workers, cousins, grandmother, partner are in the middle but still don't gel that much especially with my partner who I admit I find too crazy & social though he's loyal. Libras are OK except for their extravagant & too much social life. But I supposed to get along with these people. On the positive side, I wish I have their extrovert, positiveness, spontaneous qualities.

Anyone else here who has a mismatch of their personalities between their zodiac signs & MBTI/Enneagram?

I could never get into Zodiac. The concept is cool, I will give you that, but the theory doesn't make a lot of sense. I am Libra (born October 20th), in theory, but I am nothing like the descriptions of the sign. Going by descriptions, I am closer to what is said about Virgo.

Anyways, you will get a lot of flak for posting about signs in a site like this, even though MBTI isn't exactly science either.

My youngest is INFP 9- Cancer

My eldest is ESTP 3- Leo

My best friend is ENFP 3- Sagittarius

My lil sis/bestie is INFJ 3- Libra

My other good friend is ENFJ 2- Scorpio

Another good friend is ENFJ 3/4- Capricorn

My mother & my ex hubby have the same B day-
Mom INTJ- Aries
Him ENFP- Aries

Older sis is ESFP- Leo

Anyone else here who has a mismatch of their personalities between their zodiac signs & MBTI/Enneagram?

I'm not really a believer in astrology, but the Virgo description was always pretty spot on for me.

I'm ISTJ, enneagram 1 (undecided on wings, probably 1-5-3 tritype, maybe 1-5-4, sp/so), Virgo.

That apparently means I'm the detail oriented, practical, conscientious, picky, quiet, loyal one who gets stuff done. Who knew?

Oh, the Ophiuchus thing. I read about it several years back and yes, if we consider there are thirteen Zodiac signs, I am Virgo. It doesn't seem that the concept of thirteen Zodiac signs is well accepted, though. Not that it matters much.

I'm a virgo, but eh, astrology is complete crap to me, ridiculously broad generalisations and I know far too many people who seem to use it as an excuse for terrible behaviour.

I.E my mum getting drunk and assaulting police officers "I AM A BULL AFTER ALL YOU MUTHAFUCKERS".

I can picture that as being one of the most frustrating for their loved ones.

I don't exactly place much faith in astrology but I think the idea is cool.

I'm an ISFP, Type 9 and a Leo.....my personality doesn't exactly match the typical Leo description!
