OR do you think it's just part of the human experience and disease doesn't discriminate?

Look into if the type descriptions contain any traits that you can also find in diagnosis guidelines; I think that that would be your answer, I dont know enough myself.

Have been quite little research about the correlation between mental illnesses, and mbti. So answer on your question, its hard make an answer on your question.
Plus is not a scientifically valid personality assessment.

I've heard that INFPs, INFJs, ISFPs and ISFJs are more likely to develop depression than other types.
I've also heard that INFPs, ENFPs, INTPs and ENTPs are more likely to be diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. Apparently, however, in the case of those personalities it would be a misdiagnosis as it is just their personality.
I've also heard that INFJs and ISFJs are more likely to develop restrictive eating disorders such as anorexia or orthorexia, whilst INFPs and ISFPs are more likely to develop eating disorders such as bulimia or binge eating disorder.
I don't know how much of this is true but it's interesting to look into.
