Melting like butter
my heart succumbs to this slow burning heat
It took me by surprise
your love has changed me

I am unafraid as the knife cuts through me
Unafraid as the heat remakes

I become soft
and vulnerable
As I spread myself in every direction
Free to flow
I change shape
Melting into you
