Well.

Are these characters too 'hollywood?' In that i mean like the stuff that they do like make things from nothing can a person in real life do that?

I thrive on being like these guys like improvise on spot and make stuff out of nothing. Is it possible?

Surely, Hollywood over exaggerates, but if you'd wish to be a more realistic version of those types, I would suggested developing your S (sensing) for bottom-down detail analysis, T (thinking) for technical reasoning, and P (perception) for spontaneous improvisation.

I would reckon that McGuyver is an ISTP, lol. One of my best friends that I work with is just like this.

I don't know about that other character you mentioned.

Like I said, I reckon ISTP traits, but actually developing skills is a entirely different matter.

There exists MacGyver themed books I found on Amazon like, "The Unofficial MacGyver How-To Handbook" and "What Would MacGyver Do?" but they don't seem to get high reviews...likely because the show is somewhat unrealistic.

But there is however, a pretty dedicated MacGyver following online.
