If you think childhood is 4-10, someone born in the first half of 2002 is leaning towards the 2000s because they'd be a kid in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009, four years in the 2000s. They were also a kid in 2010, 2011, and 2012. As you can see someone born in the first half of 2002 are leaning towards the 2000s.

Also if 4-10 is childhood 2006 babies would be leaning towards the 2010s (unless 2013 is early 2010s).

Just wanted to point that out, not to be rude or anything

Age 3 should be considered part of childhood as well, since you stop "toddling around (What the name "toddler" originates from)," enter preschool, grow out of diapers and start to form memories at that age.

I think though age
I would start childhood at age 2. Age 2 is too old to be a baby, and well 2-4 are preschoolers. Technically, some stops wearing diapers as early as two. You can start preschool as early as 2. Teenager is 13-19. I think ages 2-4 should be its own separate category from ages 5-10, cause age 5 is when you are old enough for elementary school. I would consider preteen as ages 11-12 only. Many people can remember being two, while many cant remember before five, so 2-4 should be its own category, that is part of childhood, but separate from those age 5-10, and not be part of baby.

Technically, a baby takes the first steps at age one, give or take a few months between the birthdays. The baby stops toddling before the second birthday, and then becomes a preschooler at age two, as he or she can walk properly by then. They can run too. Go to like any park and you can see for yourself. So I would consider childhood should start at age 2 if ages 3-4 are included, since age 2 is too old to be considered as baby. And about diapers, it depends. Many are potty trained shortly after the second birthday, but some dont get potty trained until months after turning four. It depends. I think ages 2-4 should be considered as preschooler and let ages 5-10 be its own category.

I consider childhood as age 5 onwards if we are not counting preschoolers. Otherwise, it is age 2, cause 2-year olds are not infants, but a 4-year is just too young compared to someone in elementary school. Plus, people can remember being two, and many two-year olds are not in diapers anymore. Take Harlow for example. She is in preschool right now and she will be turning 3 in 4 months. I refuse to consider a 2-year old as baby, but a 3-4 year old more like a 7 year old than a 2-year old.

There is just one problem with that. 2-year olds dont really toddle that much, and some 3-4 year olds still do. Speaking of diapers, many two-year olds are not, while some 4-year olds are. Also, memories start from birth onwards, though the earliest age you can remember as an adult would be anywhere from 2-8. So I either consider childhood to start at age 2 or at age 5, cause a 2-year old is too large and mature to be considered a baby. 2-year olds can talk and walk on two legs.
