I don't know if anyone will be able to help but I homeschool my son and am looking for ways to relate Multiple Intelligence to our classroom style.

For instance, a teacher on another forum suggested since he is partially Kinestetic (and a boy to boot!) that it might help him focus if we had him sit on a balance ball while doing schoolwork. Another suggestion was to have a stress ball handy for him to fiddle with.

I need suggestions like these and am searching for a book or website to direct me how to add little tips like these into our school day to help my 9 year old learn.

Feed him low GI carbs and take him out for a run before you sit down to learn. Keep your sessions short and let him be active in between.

Accept that 9 year old boys don't have perfect attention spans.

In terms of what you learn, I guess you could get him to learn or explain by drawing or making models.
