Please share something relevant in common descriptions or speculations of your type which you have never engaged in or done.

I will go first, never have I ever thrived in hard sales as an adult. Somewhere along the way I grew a conscience or complex about hard sale tactics.

Never have I ever had the slightest inclination or desire to do accounting/bookkeeping type tasks. I *DESPISE* them, as a matter of fact.

Never have I ever had a one night stand.
Built a rocket ship.

Or licked my elbow, for that matter....
Never have I ever went to junior and senior years in HS. I skipped grades because 1) materials were way too easy and irrelevant to my life, 2) people were as immature as it can get, and 3) there weren't enough opportunities to get real-life experience :) ENTJ thing?
Never have I ever

Repressed minorities, or human rights because of conservatism.
Felt pressured into getting married and having kids
Been into business
Brushed off different kinds of food because they looked too crazy
Been into country music
Saved a good portion of my earnings for retirement (although I actually should do that!)
Never have I fucking ever liked machines or building them. In fact, I think they hate me too.

Never have I ever painted something for the sake of creating art.

A couple times a year, I'll do watercolor painting to unwind, but I usually end up tossing the resulting painting.

I really love this thread, @Sensational. Props to you for doing your best to break down stereotypes.

Never have I ever fallen in love with an INTJ like I'm supposed to as an ENFP.

Seriously, what the heck is up with that stereotype?

(I married an INTP.)
Never have I ever wanted to hug just about anyone. :p

A truly excellent choice of a question. As an INTJ, I have never been seen as cold by my friends (they claim I am defensive, however), although outsiders could argue the above statement.. hmm.

Absolutely Agree!

Felt pressured into getting married and having kids
Married at 22 and both kids born by the time I was 30... but never because of outside pressure. It's what we wanted, crazy kids that we were.

Been into business
I have, and hated every last minute of the miserable 8 years

Brushed off different kinds of food because they looked too crazy
Hmmmmm... Oh, well!

Been into country music
Don't hate it...strong dislike would be better term... can tolerate when necessary.

Saved a good portion of my earnings for retirement (although I actually should do that!)
Getting close to retirement myself... yes you should! I did not save enough myself, much related to those eight years with my own business.
Never have I ever...

  • Registered as a Republican in 43 years of voting
  • Said... "Because we've always done it that way, that's why!"
  • Thought "differently" of my gay god-daughter (niece), my black daughter-in-law (hell... if anything, my son married "up") or my black very close friend (by the ISTJ definition of "friend"... not just an "acquaintance").
  • Attended a regular weekly church service (at least not since I was confirmed 47 years ago)
  • Said "That won't work" without adding "...but we can make it work if we just make these small changes"

Never have I ever...had kids.

That's about the only stereotype (and the part where I wasn't a cheerleader, but I said that already) I don't fit or haven't at some point. Sad but true.
