Hi everyone! My name is Rick, and I've just recently become interested in Myers-Briggs. Very fascinating stuff. I'm not sure if I completely fit the mold of a typical INFP. For example, I find drawing, painting, etc. quite fun, but I really can't do any of those well to save my life. With that said, though, I'm not sure if I really fit in with any other personality type. Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting all of you guys and getting insight on your personalities.

I'm and ENFP, and I can't draw well... at least not in a creative way. I can kind of copy things, but my visual abilities are limited, not very detail oriented in a 'Sensor' kind of way.

Being creative isn't just drawing etc.

For instance, I'm a writer. Words are my creative avenue and my ideas are very unconventional. =]

Now that I think about it, writing might be more of my strength as well. I don't think that I'm ever going to be an award-winning novelist, but writing is definitely something I enjoy doing that's also something I'm not completely horrible at. Maybe that's part of why I'm an INFP. :)

Sadly I don't actually know any INFP's =/ Wish I did...

I used to say I wasn't an artist and fought my ENFP test results because I've never viewed my self as creative. But once I embraced it... I realized I'm VERY creative, I'm just not a drawer, painter etc... I'm creative in many other ways... even if its just thinking outside the box!

how long have you known you were an INFP? I've only known about MBTI for under a year... it's pretty new, but I'm sucked in for life and always analyzing people!

MBTI is actually something I just got into a few days ago. I don't remember how I found out about it, but once I did, it completely drew me in. Ever since then, I've also been analyzing people and trying to figure out their type. I find it very fun.

I actually know several ENFPs, one of them being my sister. She's definitely an artsy type. Not so much in her appearance, but a good number of her interests are interconnected with art, but like you, she's also very interested in writing.
