There is an old saying, it's not what you say, but what you are not saying.....SP types pick up these non-verbal cues instantly.
SP: (noticing despondency) You okay?
Other type: I'm fine... (as they fold their arms or show a melancholic face).
SP: (makes a mental note)Leave them alone.....
ESPs are the kings/queens of picking up on non-verbal cues that allows them to to consider a tactical maneuver to either move pass the defense or at least gauge their tone to match the current mood (hence the chameleon-like tendencies of SP types). Is it no wonder that ESTP type descriptions generally reference to a need to "tone it down" based on the ambiance of a group?
