Note Tattoo Idea

I was walking past a tattoo shop the other day, and I though about drawing my own tattoo and having them resketch or just stick the thing to me and stencil it, but then I had an even better idea. What if you took a note someone wrote to you and you traced your favorite part? It would be like they wrote on you, but you wouldn't be walking around like a middle schooler because it would be a tat.

How could you ever feel badly if you could just look down and see how many people wanted you to know they loved you. It wouldn't be tough, but by the time you're middle aged people would look and say look how many people (or just who) loves this *****.

It reminds me of the signing of people's plastered arms, and I like the idea of handwritten, personal notes as tattoos...

...but I am one of those people who peferredly didn't look back. I keep old letters in a box but I need to stop myself from throwing them away. So definitely not for me, and I also think the world 'love' might oftentimes be inauthentic and why on earth would you want something inauthentic tattooed on your body?

It's not a bad idea, except all the handwritten notes I get these days are like, "your rent is overdue!" or "please don't use this coffee" so...

Or if you really want something personal from someone, you could have them write their name on you personally, or a thank you.

Any combination of the two.

Like so...

"Thank you, [and or love]

Stephanie Smith Johnson"

Similar to the whole cast deal, except on your skin. Or any other witty saying that's personal from them to you.

Oops, NOW I read this haha. Oh well... I'll just say ditto then.
nope never, i don't want someone else's words on my body.
it's the equivalent of tattoing someone's name on you. people are not permanant and to me a tattoo represents you. i'd rather keep a letter than put it on my body.
