Want to observe who is the fairest of them all in the eyes of the intuitive thinkers. Which category of people are your eye candy? Eeeh, lets pretend that wasn't forever published in a community forum-thread-article thingy.

Anyway, so I made a thread a few months back about what type is most attractive in a female and in a male. This time, I want to see what intuitive thinkers as a whole find most attractive. Out of the 16 types, it'll be interesting to see what type shares the quality that all intuitive thinkers find attractive.

Ill put up a poll, but just in case you guys get bored, ill also ask these questions!

1. Which type did you choose/ are most attracted to?

2. What is your type?

3. What are the top 3 things you look for in a partner?

4.If you HAD to choose, would you choose someone of similar or of opposite traits?

5. Just in case you didn't answer the above (suspecting a lot of "I really want an in-between" comments) which letters/ cognitive functions do you want in a partner?

6. What qualities do you find annoying in a partner and, counter question, does the type you chose have these qualities?

THANKS FOR RESPONDING!

1. Which type did you choose/ are most attracted to?
Whichever Peter Griffin chooses!

1. Which type did you choose/ are most attracted to?
None of them, to be honest. I'm asexual, after all. Though I'd like an introverted person, since I'm more used to being with a more reserved person(my whole family are introverts). I also like judgers, since they actually PUT THINGS WHERE I WANT THEM TO BE, so I don't have to do the cleaning all of the time.

2. What is your type?
INTJ, 5w6, sp/sx

3. What are the top 3 things you look for in a partner?
1. Logic
2. Cooperation
3. Mature/responsible

4.If you HAD to choose, would you choose someone of similar or of opposite traits?
Similar, because we can easily share things within each other.

5. Just in case you didn't answer the above (suspecting a lot of "I really want an in-between" comments) which letters/ cognitive functions do you want in a partner?
IxxJ
I don't really care about the functions tbh.

6. What qualities do you find annoying in a partner and, counter question, does the type you chose have these qualities
Things I find annoying:
- Stupidity
- Being irrational
- Messiness
- Whiny
- Too dramatic
- Blaming on you for something you didn't do

I can't really tell whether or not any of these apply to my chosen type, because it takes more than just four different traits to find out if they apply.

1. I don't find one type more attractive than the other. It all depends on individual traits. An INTJ can suck ass and a ESFP can be delightful.

2. ENTJ

3. Potential. What can determine potential is chemistry, responsibility, and patience.

4. If they are at their best, probably opposite. Different perspective.

5. Well developed ones.

1. Which type did you choose/ are most attracted to?
I can't say. I'm attracted to people, not types. I mean I don't know any typed people in real life (other than myself), and I'm not well acquainted with typed people online, so I have little basis for preferring a given type to another.

I can say that at this point I'm very unattracted to people who seem to be Feelers.

2. What is your type?
INTP!

3. What are the top 3 things you look for in a partner?
cognitive skills/style
similar political orientation/vision for human society
gender non-conformity

4.If you HAD to choose, would you choose someone of similar or of opposite traits?
similar, but that depends on the traits.

5. Just in case you didn't answer the above (suspecting a lot of "I really want an in-between" comments) which letters/ cognitive functions do you want in a partner?
Thinking is the only one I really care about. I may have a slight preference for Introversion but I don't have enough experience to say at this point. I think strong Judging could easily be annoying as well.

6. What qualities do you find annoying in a partner and, counter question, does the type you chose have these qualities?
  • emotional dependence
  • proneness to assumptions
  • attachment to arbitrary human-centric systems, such as religion, culture, race, and class
  • random, egocentric, arbitrary opinions (not to be confused with tastes)
  • lack of willpower/internal motivation and self-preservation instincts

1. Which type did you choose/ are most attracted to?
INTJ.

2. What is your type?
INTP.

3. What are the top 3 things you look for in a partner?
- Intellect --> Rationality, logic, theoretical discussions
- Common ground
- Emotional connections

4.If you HAD to choose, would you choose someone of similar or of opposite traits?
Most likely no. I have low tolerance towards those who I cannot have provoking discussions with, and understanding the depth of every action and concept in society.

5. Just in case you didn't answer the above (suspecting a lot of "I really want an in-between" comments) which letters/ cognitive functions do you want in a partner?
Intuition and Thinking are the most important functions for me. In order: Ne - Te - Ni - Se - Ti.

6. What qualities do you find annoying in a partner and, counter question, does the type you chose have these qualities?
Arrogance, know-it-all attitude, refusal to accept other views/opinions other than their own, ignorance, stubbornness.
Yes, INTJs do have some of these qualities. However, if we both compromise and tone down our hardheadedness, I wouldn't mind.

Probably INTJ. As the person above, I'm also very unattracted to Feelers.

INTP.

Wow, it's been nearly a year since I responded. Based on my experience on PerC, xSTJs win by process of elimination. Not a very meaningful opinion, but there it is.

1. Which type did you choose/ are most attracted to?
ENFJ, because up to know, he was the one person who could enter the gated fortress of my heart, with almost no effort exerted.

2. What is your type?
INTJ

3. What are the top 3 things you look for in a partner?
Considerate
Charismatic
Affectionate

4.If you HAD to choose, would you choose someone of similar or of opposite traits?
Opposite, because I feel like we compliment each other's characteristics. In this case it would be an Extroverted Feeler.

5. Just in case you didn't answer the above (suspecting a lot of "I really want an in-between" comments) which letters/ cognitive functions do you want in a partner?
N- because it's just easier to communicate thoughts
J- because I need structure, organization, & even predictably. It feels safer to me.

So that would narrow it down to: INFJ, ENFJ, INTJ, ENTJ

6. What qualities do you find annoying in a partner and, counter question, does the type you chose have these qualities?
I can't stand a domineering, inconsiderate, rude, person. Maybe that's just a narcissist, but still. No, not at all.

Edit: I'm amazed that the INTJ's have gotten so many votes. :proud:

Type I chose: INTJ, though if we were talking raw sexual attraction, ENTJ is high up there also.

My type: INTJ

Top 3 Things I look for: Intellect, sense of humor, connection.

Similar or Opposite Traits: Generally similar, but I mesh well with my ENFJ too.

Cognitive Functions: Intuition (Ni or Ne), also enjoy Te. It really depends on the person.

Traits I Dislike: Loud, rude, messy, unambitious, closed-minded, mean-spirited.

ENTJ

2. What is your type?
INTP

3. What are the top 3 things you look for in a partner?
1. Must have a thinking function as dominant function (Te/Ti)
2. Should be able to accept me as I am.
3. Good natured and trustworthy.

4.If you HAD to choose, would you choose someone of similar or of opposite traits?
Similar??? No not at all. Completely different. Someone with opposite traits. So that we can always learn from each other.

6. What qualities do you find annoying in a partner and, counter question, does the type you chose have these qualities?
-Disrespect and selfishness.
-Manipulation for own benifit.
(Not necessarily a partner, I find these annoying in anyone)

INTJs easily, it's not even close. The sexiest part about the female INTJ is that they don't think they're sexy at all. Plus I love how they try to ignore you when they're annoyed, pretend you don't exist, it's so cute.

I've dated two INTJs, and once you go INTJ, nothing else feels quite like it. The amount of effort they put into pleasing you and making you happy and genuienly building that connection with you by opening themselves up, it's truly amazing. Everything an INTJ does in a relationship has a purpose, and is carefully thought out and done with so much care. Yeah they can be very blunt and they're unpredictable a lot as they need their alone time and their time to think and you'll feel like something is wrong when it's really not (miscommunication issues), but once you get how INTJs work in a relationship, it really becomes amazing.

Which type did you choose/are most attracted to?
I selected INFJ

What is your type?
I'm an ENTP

What are the top 3 things you look for in a partner?
  • A gentle Soul with emotional stability.
  • A pragmatic person with a sense of humour.
  • An adaptable and flexible personality.

If you HAD to choose, would you choose someone of similar or of opposite traits?
Opposites in some ways, but not all.
I would need an Fi/Fe Dom or Aux person as Fx is my weakest expression.
So, ENFx's?

Just in case you didn't answer the above (suspecting a lot of "I really want an in-between" comments) which letters/cognitive functions do you want in a partner?
Almost certainly an NF temperament (although not keen on INFP's).
Of my other NT peers, I 'connect' most with INTP.
I have no interest in SP and SJ types.

What qualities do you find annoying in a partner and, counter question, does the type you choose have these qualities?
Anyone who has an inflexible attitude.
Of the NF's, the INFP can be fixated on ideals?
INTP's can be resistant because of pure logical opinion.

YES. THIS. I'm much of a thinking person and so I do need the other part to be in charge of the emotions.
I'm not entirely sure about Fi, though. Ti and Fi can clash more often than not and in my experience I'm much better with Fe.

ENFJ

ENTP

I fell for this one ENFJ pretty hard. She made me feel how Sherlock felt every time Irene Adler outsmarted him. Drove me crazy (in a good way). She was the only one that ever turned the tables on me whenever I threw out my Ne.

1. Which type did you choose/ are most attracted to?
Im having trouble deciding. Probably INTP or ENFP. I am picking more from my experience but that could change.

2. What is your type?
ENTP

3. What are the top 3 things you look for in a partner?
Intelligence
Creativity
Fun-loving

4.If you HAD to choose, would you choose someone of similar or of opposite traits?
Similar. I dated an ISFJ for a while and we drove each other batshit crazy and had a lot of trouble understanding each other. I cant imagine that being any easier with an ISTJ.

5. Just in case you didn't answer the above (suspecting a lot of "I really want an in-between" comments) which letters/ cognitive functions do you want in a partner?
Ne or Ti. Something I can easily banter with, understand, or have a good time.

6. What qualities do you find annoying in a partner and, counter question, does the type you chose have these qualities?
Controlling
Closed-minded
Self-victimizing
Emotionally unstable
Anyone could have any of these. I think itll depend on someone's mental health.

Mostly similar.
5. Just in case you didn't answer the above (suspecting a lot of "I really want an in-between" comments) which letters/ cognitive functions do you want in a partner?
XXTP-> Feelers tend to get triggered easily and if I can't make fun of them I can't date them. I would drive a judging type insane if they spent to much time with me, because I'm messy as hell.
6. What qualities do you find annoying in a partner and, counter question, does the type you chose have these qualities?
- clinginess
- judginess (is that even a word?)
- being passive aggressive
