So I was curious as to what enneagram type the ISFJs in this forum are, but I can't find a corresponding thread so I'm starting one. If you're an ISFJ and you know your enneagram type you should post it here, if you don't know you're type there's a link below to find out.

Great idea for a thread! I have a feeling the results will pretty much confirm the Enneagram/MBTI correlation statistics threads in the Enneagram forum, but this is interesting nonetheless!

Okay, I got the first few ISFJs on the table, anyone else care to share? If you want to add yourself to the tablejust reply to the last poster, remove the quote tags (and any text outside of the table), copy a set of tags from TR to /TR and paste it after another /TR line, then replace the information that you just pasted with your own. Hopefully those instructions make sense. I'm willing to bet that there will be a lot of 9w1s, 2w1s, and 6w5s, not necessarily in that order, with a spattering of 1w9s or 1w2s mixed in. I'm not sure which one to expect as the most common primary type though.

I'm a type 6, as far as I can tell (that much should pop up when my little yellow face icon under my avatar is clicked). I don't know what my wings are...I've never been able to figure that out. But I think other than type 6, type 9 and type 2 seem to align the most with me.


But the type 6 attributes definitely line up the most with my personality, so I've viewed myself as a type 6 for a long time.

I have an MBTI book that says ISFJs are most likely to be 2s, 6s or 9s...so our results align with that. However, the book also says that ISFJs are very likely to be type 1s, and we don't appear to have any true 1s either...so there's only so much accuracy that can be had. I think ISTJs are also very likely to be 1s.

It would seem that ISFJs tend to be of the compliant (types 1, 2, & 6) type and are rarely all that assertive (types 3, 7, & 8) which is of no surprise. It also doesn't surprise me that an SJ would come up as a type 6. The somewhat surprising part is that ISFJs don't tend to have a primary type in the feeling (types 2, 3, & 4) triad, but instead seem to be much more instinctive (types 1, 8, & 9) triad-centric.

There, being a 4 on this table, doesn't surprise me as much as the 8. @Scarlett_'s results are something I'd expect more of an ESFJ than an ISFJ. Now, if someone were to come on here saying they were an ISFJ type 7w8 or 3w4, then I may have to give them funny looks.

Me too. Since, Im the only one. I used to type a 6 alot, then it changed to a 4 and its been a 4 for a few weeks.
Im kinda wondering why I am a 4 now, because I really do relate with being a 6. (the nervous,suspious stuff) *shrugs*

The tests can be wrong half the time. You should read about all of the types in-depth and figure it out for yourself. You should know yourself better than an online test. Those tests can pretty much just show you where to start. If you think you fit more with 6, you're most likely a 6.
