Our Secret Super Powers!

Ok, they may not be 'supernatural' powers, (and hopefully they're not too secret) but we've all got things we're good at!

It's easy to focus on how we wish we were, but take a moment and think about the things you are good at. Don't be shy! Don't be modest! Indulge in a little shameless self-promotion here, because I think we really deserve it! I think we all have tallents and knowlege that we don't think anyone else can see, and many times it feels like the strengths of INFPs are overlooked by society. So it's good to remind ourselves that there are things we are good at! Rememebring our good points can be really encouraging, and maybe we can remind others of things they appreciate about themselves too. So what makes you proud to be uniquely you? What random things are you good at? (and if you don't mind revealing your superhero identity you can share your super-power too  )

I'll start out with:
I am awesome at untying knots! so bring me your tangled mass of necklaces, bing me that thread that got a tiny knot, bring me your matted mess of hair after a day in the wind, bring me those balls of yarn you let the cats play with and I'll have it right as rain in a jiffy!

I'm really good at picking up on someone wanting to share something during a conversation and working as a facilitator of sorts, making sure that I pass the conversaiton off to them if they don't speak up for themselves.

I seem to be really good with animals

ive got great discernment.
i can basically read people's minds. im very visual so i can tell a lot about a person or thing by watching it, in which, i love to do :D
I'm good at reading body language. I've even turned myself into a lie detector, as long as no one knows I'm doing it, of course. And I know what your favourite colour means about your personality.

I'm also really good at telling how good of a person you are by my standards when I first meet you. I haven't been wrong yet, though I always give people the benifit of the doubt, even though it always screws me over in the end...
I'm really good at rockin' the plaid.
Also, People seem to like to open up to me. I suppose I listen well/Jedi mind trick...
I'm good at gaining a stranger's trust and confidence.
I'll be let's say, sitting on a bus, and some random person will come up to me and tell me their life story.
It also feels good when someone I look up to and respect values my opinion and advice and trusts me with their secrets.

I'm pretty perceptive about people's general motives and can see a lot that lies beneath the surface. I know when people are hurting, I know when people are gonna have something amazing enter their lives, and I know when someone is out to deceive me or someone I care about.

I can be pretty connected to the earth around me sometimes, as if it is an extension of my being. I know truthfully it is more vice versa, but it helps me be prepared for whatever is coming up in life.

I'm very creative.
It is one of my primary resources in sticky situations and I depend on it.

I can see beauty in anything, even the most supposed grotesque and absurd. In fact, especially so.
I like to share it with whoever is willing to see.

I make my friends feel welcomed and loved. I like to help them discover their value and worth. I see the potential and hope they can learn to do the same.

Perspectives, I'm really good at seeing things from all angles. It makes me a decent mediator and helps me to understand things from both sides no matter what the circumstances are. This has helped me grow immensely.

I'm great at making a fool of myself. That isn't negative, I have no real shame about it. It is fun and I love the opportunity to make myself and others laugh and not be afraid of ourselves so much.

:) Okay done bragging hehe
Writing out complex and artfully detailed characters and sometimes plots within my head

My weakness...actually writing them out, and having them be as well written on paper as they were in my head. (As my head gets scrambled once my hand touches pen.)

Also people seam to trust me almost instantly, and open up to me.

Also a dark talent is my ability to read people and mental states, and know them in and out. Including most of their weaknesses within just a few meetings. (I use it for good...85% of the time.)
Lol super powers...well I've got great judgement of character and great communication skills I suppose. People ask me where I come up with these questions is ask about themselves from left field.

I also enjoy getting creative at times and expressing myself through words, though no one really gets me a lot.
I have the gift of making people feel at ease...and occasionally saying the most profound things in simple and easy to understand phrases
- I do not judge people. Situations, yes. But people, never. While at times I do not spare criticism I make it a point to stay away from ad hominem arguments. Someone's thoughts may be misguided but I will never judge their character.

- I have a high level of empathy. People come to me for help.

- I have a strong analytical mind. I find I can see far beyond what most other people around me see. Often I feel as if many people barely ever think at all, or at least never beyond the constraints of their own lives.
I can watch someone do something once and replicate what they have done. People say I'm good at everything I do, but they are wrong. I merely imitate what I have seen. I guess they believe that I am good at it because as I'm showing them what they have already seen I do it with confidence.

My superpower: Doppelganger

As not to be too self critical I will add that after the first time of replicating their actions I can alter the process and make it my own.
I'm good at reading body language. I've even turned myself into a lie detector, as long as no one knows I'm doing it, of course. And I know what your favourite colour means about your personality.

I'm really curious to know what you would think my favorite color would tell you about my personality.

Secret Super Powers...ehh. I never thought I had any, but I do have pretty good social skills. I know how to talk to people and I can adjust myself according to their mood, or I can be blunt if the need arises.

Uhh...is selflessness a super power? ;o

Reminded me of this haha, good to refresh the old crainium with this piece of comedy gold.

as far as my superpowers, well I seem to have a built in alarm clock because I always seem to be good at knowing when it's close to the time I have to do something. Also I have the ability to disregard most pain I experience when trying to get a job done.

me too :) mine is dark green, slightly on the yellowish side, followed very closely by deep blueish purple. I never seem to find those 'what color is your personality' quizzes to be correct for me, sigh....they always want to make me turquoise or something, blech!

Uhh...is selflessness a super power? ;o
sure it is! heros are usually acting selflessly, and it can be really hard for people to not put themselves first. :)
I remembered that I can seem invisible to people at will, which is weird considering I'm 6' + but people seem to not notice me with I don't want to be noticed.

I have an amazing memory. I rarely need to study for my tests, because after the first time I read and hear something, it will stay in my mind for months.
Making people smile, Just a simple genuine smile
Also having a low presence, It's great because I love making people jump and I'm able to do it in the most visible places without someone noticing me.
I'm a super hero, too or a witch.
I can change the proportion of just about anything. I'll take a mundane thing and make it larger than life for whoever is in need to have theirs super-stared or I can disassemble something seemingly extreme into a miniature tad of a non-for-not, so it won't seem so hefty to bed.

It is much easier to do for others than for self, but I manage to fixer-upper mine own as well. Fits the need.
