I'm not heavily into politics, but I do lean towards the conservative/republican side.

I'm also in to imperialism.

Interesting - introverts tend to be more republican than extroverts, judging more republican than perceiving (actually not that surprising considering right-wing politics tends to focus more on tradition and the maintenance of long-standing institutions), feeling is pretty much 50/50 but thinking is significantly more republican (not so much the ExTx's but all the IxTx types really buck the trend) and there doesn't seem to be a correlation between intuition or sensing.

Didn't expect the introverts to be more right-wing... weird...

Really? I would have said the opposite... maybe it's a US thing.
It's not a US thing.

I don't know what Azrael means exactly, but it's generally known that the right-wing are mostly the "loud and in-your-face" types (especially in the US I would say). Just think Bill O'reilly, Hannity, that fat guy radio personality who is rather popular in the US (can't remember his name: Rombough, Limbough, something like that lol), Giuliani, etc. The only Democrat that I know of who's a bit "in-your-face" is Al Franken. There might be others like him, but for the most part American pundits of right-wing persuasion are usually (but not always of course) the eminent practitioners of "loud-makes-right."

My point exactly - Azrael was suggesting the opposite.

There are plenty of "loudmouth" liberal pundits. I'd say being boorish is more of a political pundit thing than a left/right thing.

INTP Libertarian.
well don't you feel special, ms 0%? :p

i do find it surprising that many of the introverts are more right wing. you usually get the impression that the kid who sits around and thinks all day has very "out-there" thoughts, and the thoughts that are considered more "out-there" are more to the left......

as for my political affiliation, i'm very left. not scary-left, not to the point of being closed-minded left, but very left. :) (i don't like extremists of any political affiliation! they creep me out!)

It would be cool if everyone here who is sure of their type to take the political compass test and we could see like 16 different sets of placements of dots on the graphs in a heat map type of thingie... one set for each type. It would be much easier to show how types relate to political beliefs. Also, I don't identify with democrat or republican and one person who identifies with one of those two political affiliations can have very different beliefs than another person who identifies with the same political affiliation.

Just my two cents.

Libertarian...Hardcore Libertarian. My reasons for being one are because the Libertarian party is the only party whose main issues revolve around personal freedom. i.e. Anti gun control, gay rights, across the board drug legalization, states rights, no taxes or severely reduced taxes, we are a little divided on the abortion issue, but im on the pro choice side.

Anyone notice the INFP's were the only one who had Not Political at the top? Which I am a part of.

Well as much non-political you can get.

For the record, all politicians in the media, left and right suck, and they fall into the categories of dick's and douche bags, non respectively---- some at the bottom are ass holes. They all want to have it their way and no one else's. They are all narrow minded and lacking in understanding of all corners and sides, just my two cents. Balance~

peace~

Honestly...im fucking shocked that none of the INTPs polled were libertarians...i mean...WTF!?!? what happened to the INTP being all individualistic and wanting people to butt the fuck out of their business and shit like that?!?! huh?!?! WTF INTPs! WTF! WE GOT BEAT BY THE GODAMN Js FOR FUCKS SAKE! FUCKFUCKFUCK! GODAMMIT FUCK!...

*a few minuites, and barbituates, later*

Sorry for my overuse of the word fuck...and my overuse of capitalization...and my angry ranting...but...well...FUCKINGFUCK GODAMMIT I THOUGHT MOST INTPs WERE ENEAGRAM 5s! WTF!!!! THOSE ARE THE TYPE THAT VALUE INDIVIDUALITY MORE THEN ALMOST ANYTHING ELSE...GODAMMIT FUCK! MY ENTIRE WORLD IS FALLING DOWN ARUOND MY EARS AND I CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!!

Oh ya, and just one more thing...i was thinking about how Obamas big campaign gimmick was how he would CHANGE everything...and how a vote for him was a vote for CHANGE...well maybe if we really wanted some CHANGE we should elect someone who didnt come from the same parties that have supplied all our presidents for the past 250 years!

You are no longer alone my dear freedom loving friend.
You are fucking awesome.

"God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is
wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts
they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,
it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not
warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost
in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure."

-Thomas Jefferson

BTW, unfortunately I was not aware of the polls. Otherwise, I would have voted Libertarian. :)
