Not sure if this has come up before, but I've just come across this series of photos highlighting the disparity between a group of people's dreams and their current realities. After looking through all of them, I found it to be more striking and powerful than I had first thought.

Wow, these struck me.

There's so much difference between people's reality and dreams, I wonder if it's just a hyperbole in this case (to amplify the effect) or if it's always like that.

There's so much difference between people's reality and dreams, I wonder if it's just a hyperbole in this case (to amplify the effect) or if it's always like that.

There might have been some artistic license in how the realities are depicted, but they don't seem too far off from what I've seen in videos and documentaries showing life of the poor in China.

The dreams are definitely likely exaggerated (they are dreams after all :tongue.
