1. What makes me angry?
I am angered by the dullness of modern day society. We have killed most of nature and now we sit in ivory towers founded upon the dead. If you don't fit the appropriate mold of society you become an outcast and there is nothing you can do about it. What makes things worse is that people don't listen to logic and the don't care enough to change it so we are all trapped in a prison that we can't escape. Everyone is useful, not just those with degrees.

2. What do I like/ dislike about people?
I like people that are honest and kind. We have so much potential to help others and be free. You don't have to pretend everything is okay and in fact, fake people bother me just as much as the jerks out there. Power is an illusion and if we could all just sit down and be honest, we could take back the planet but what makes me sad is that I honestly can't see that happening.

3. Do I like animals? Why?
I like animals but I care more about people. That isn't to say I would stand by while some monster abuses their pet. I like animals because they can teach us things and they are one of our last few links to nature. How boring would life be if we somehow figured out how to live without animals and all we had were business men? I don't know about you but I wouldn't wanna live here anymore.

4. What do I like most about my favorite people in life?
First, I love real honest people that don't freak out when discussing the REAL topics that most people avoid. Second, I go the extra mile for my friends and people that I like are ones that thank me and don't take advantage of me. Third, I like positive people that can help me see the good around me because I tend to overthink everything and I can be pessimistic if in a bad mood.

5. What do I like/dislike about myself?
I like that I am generous, a hard worker, intelligent, honest, reliable, great debater, very knowledgeable, very kind, always building up others, and that I can handle more than most people. I don't like that I can be awkward, have a hard time finding friends, am very hard on myself, I can be too rigid, I get depressed easily, I am very sensitive, and I feel like even though I give more effort than sometimes two or more people, I am just not accepted as "part of the group". In person I have times where I am very smooth but other times where I am awkward. I think this could be a Ni-Ti loop because I reprocess the same info again and again and again until I socialize.

6. Do I care about being fashionable? Why or why not?
I care very much about being fashionable because that is what is valued in Southern California. I dress comfortably but always unique and true to myself. The colors go well together and my clothes fit well. I didn't care as much when younger.

7. Do I prefer to fit in or stand out?
Stand out. I don't over do it though. I dress according to the situation with a few personal touches. I don't let others decide how I am, although I can become very proper or very down to earth depending on the audience but always REAL.

8. What do I like to do?
I enjoy hiking, being in nature, playing music, drawing, martial arts, writing, reading, and spending time with friends.

9. What makes me feel secure?
Being alone in nature and relaxing away from all the business and stress of modern day life. I like when people encourage me because I really don't get it enough honestly.

10. Do I like being in a relationship? Why or why not?
I like relationships that are peaceful and that include support. Knowing that you would die for someone and them for you is a great feeling.

11. What do I love and why?
I love Jesus, I love people, I love nature, I love learning, and I love philosophy.

12. What do I spend the most time thinking about?
I probably spend the most time thinking about theology because serving God is my life goal. Aside from that, I think about what things could be and where things are leading.

13. How have I changed over the years? Who was I as a child?
I haven't changed much really. I still love fun and I am really energetic, however, maybe I have gotten a bit more serious on the outside. During high school I was definitely much more serious than as a child. Anybody that really knows me knows that I really care about them and accept them and I'm actually a really warm person that can't even insult people. People on the outside may see me as standoffish but that is just because I like to get to know someone through observation before I meet them.

I see Ni, Ti and Fe, perhaps a bit Fi as well. To me, you seem to be an INFJ in an Ni-Ti-loop, or at least an overdeveloped Ti. I guess I could see Te-Fi somewhere, but then I'd have to disregard Ti for you, and I don't want to to that... Other than your type, you simply seem to be an awesome person!

Well you definitely sound like an NF. I'm not sure which one for sure, but I'm thinking INFJ. The standoffish part makes me think you are an introvert, and the way you talk sounds kind of like an Ni user to me. My fiancée is an INFJ, and the stuff you are saying reminds me of something that she would say. Also, you sound like a really cool person, and we have a lot in common! :D

I'm curious where you see Ni, Ti and Fe? I see no evidence for any of those! INFJ seems a very strange typing to me. :)
What makes things worse is that people don't listen to logic
Seems Ti to me.
I like people that are honest and kind.
- Okey, who doesn't? But it stands out as Fe - social harmony and stuff.
fake people bother me just as much as the jerks out there.
Same as above.
I like that I am generous, a hard worker, intelligent, honest, reliable, great debater, very knowledgeable, very kind, always building up others
Bold one strikes me as Ti, Italic ones as Fe. (On the Ti, of course, you can be knowledeable without Ti, but I think Ti would strive for those, maybe more than other types in general.
I feel like even though I give more effort than sometimes two or more people, I am just not accepted as "part of the group".
This seems Fe to me.
I like relationships that are peaceful and that include support. Knowing that you would die for someone and them for you is a great feeling.
Probably true for most people as well, but still strikes me as Fe.
Not any particular examples or "proof" for Ni, other than the fact that I get an Ni-vibe from the description, and that INFJ seems to fit better than ISFJ.

Is there anything that stands against INFJ that I've missed?

Hi folks, I d like to type my mum to fully understand her thoughts process since our differences are a major source of hard communication.

So for a bit of background, I am ENTP, 27 y/o, got a master degree in political sciences but I couldn't find a suitable job for me with it. Then, I decided to learn coding and I am now 90% done with my first ecommerce site.

My behavior is really obsessive when I am concentrated with the task at hand. Thus, leaving me to ignore everything (time, surroundings, myself... I d say it s typical ENTP.). As a consequence, my flat and my life are a total mess.

During a conversation with my mum, she was worried that I was undergoing a depression which I had in the past but absolutely not true atm. I figured out that she correlates my well-being to how well-organized, socially integrated I am and how my flat looks like. She gets really depressed when she sees how I live and become very sad when I tell her that this is how ENTPs are, since it doesn't fit what she thinks is "normal" for someone of my age and competence.

She is a gynecologist, she has a tendency to interpret everything through her personal map of morals and values, which makes me think that she s a Fi Dom. Also, I am pretty sure she's a sensor rather than intuitive. She likes to randomly smell flowers, she likes going on trip alone or with me with very minimal planning...

I was leaning toward ISFP but I really have the feeling that she is rather a J type. However, that could just be me mistaking Fi for judgement.

So yeah, how much do you think my approach of typing her and results are valid?
Also, if you guys have some tips on how I can improve the way I interact with her, that would be awesome!

Cheers

Thanks. :)

I don't see Fe. I see Fi actually. There's very much an emphasis being honest and "real" - even at the cost of interpersonal harmony. The feeling tone throughout the post is also very authentic and personal to the user. At least, that's how I read it.

The parts about being rational, logical, enjoying debates etc. do indicate a Thinking function. However, the fact the author never actually SAYS anything particularly logic-based or T-oriented in the post makes you wonder! :)

I'd tentatively type the person as ENFP. Ne + Te is where I think the willingness to debate and learn comes from, and most people think of themselves as logical/rational anyway (ENFPs and INFJs tend to not be anywhere near as "logical", technically speaking, as they believe they are, because of the interplay of the functions - not that they aren't highly intelligent).

Also, the hatred the writer has for everyday life and unimaginative people (often something Ne types charge Si types of), plus their hatred for businesspeople and that whole Te worldview, makes me think NFP.

So I'd say ENFP or INFP. May well be wrong though. It's impossible to say for sure in these kinds of threads. :)

Thanks guys! It seems I'm getting a bunch of INFJ, ENFP, and INFP. Is there any way I can help to determine my most likely type? Is there any dead giveaway questions I can answer? Thanks again! Someone I know is a typologist and they said I'm an ESFP. I accepted it at first but then realized that typologists do exactly what we do and I have a very firm grasp on typology in my opinion. A title doesn't give you 100% accuracy. To me that seems very unlikely and ultimately I'm trying to get over her credentials because it really does make sense at all. I do tend to act really Se around her but that may be an inferior function coming out when I'm nervous. That tends to happen.. I also noted that I act very different in public. I think shes ENFJ and something about ENFJs makes me feel really social and energetic. My guitar teacher is also ENFJ and the same things happens around him. Why do I change around ENFJ while I'm rather reserved in public.
