I have now gotten myself into the second job where I must regularly work with feeling females. They gossip and speculate all day. It drives me nuts!! They know almost nothing about me because I have to bite my tongue all day. As I get more used to them, my filter will inevitably fail me, I know. I am doing what I have to to get out of this job, but I have to wait a good year before it's really going to happen. I'm trying to make the best of a tough place to be.

So how do you work with feeling females?

Oh man, how did you get yourself in that spot? They sound like a bunch of unhealthy ESFJs and/or ENFJs. Ugh. I feel for you. I know you said that you'll probably have to wait a year before you can get out of that job, but I'd be looking for a way to make that happen sooner.

*sigh* thanks - I'm here for $15/hour. I live in a small town. I have no degree and little specialized experience. 26 years old. 2 kids and a husband (INFJ) seeking disability. It's been a rough road and I can't afford to NOT be here every day. We're one of those families who struggle, but make too much money for any kind of help.

In a cynical kind of way, I'm looking forward to the day that I tell off my co-workers. I know it's coming; I can feel it. I will continue to hold it in as long as I can, but it's going to happen.

The first job was in childcare, btw. Loved the job and the kids, but hated working with the women!

@futurepilot37 I'm sorry I don't have a better solution. Hang in there! I've been there with a job I can't stand and working for/with people I can't stand. I know you'll find a way out though. Us ESTPs can always eventually improvise our way out of any tough spot. ;-)

Thanks, Selinda!

For the first time in my life, my future plans are driving me! I'm getting myself and my family ready for me to join the Army to become a helicopter pilot! Some days that dream seems closer than others, but I have committed to following through! And my husband won't let me out of it even if I wanted to!

Wow, tough situation you have there. I wish you all the best, I hope you can get through it all. Stay well and safe.
For support, I'm 23 and don't have a degree in anything either, its hard for me to find work. I don't want to work in hospitality anymore... I worked in it for four years, and it was making me frustrated and depressed. I'm actually glad I don't work there anymore, so relieving. But most entry level jobs are within hospitality >_> and other fields which I cannot stand. Data entry on a computer on Microsoft excel? No thanks, I'd rather shoot myself, lol.

Good luck. :)

Don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but the military seems risky to me in regards the way the world is going at the moment.... Its at a boiling point.

But, all the best anyway.

@futurepilot37 Have you ever looked into work-from-home opportunities? I've used a website called FlexJobs to look for alternative schedule and work-from-home jobs. There is a small membership cost involved, but they weed out the scams and only post legitimate jobs. Here's a link: Flex Jobs
