How in the heck are you supposed to find out what someone is without them taking the test? Well, even if they take the test...because the test can be greatly manipulated.

Also, if you dont mind...can someone tell me how I know that an extravert is really an extravert, and not an introvert? I always thought of my friend as an introvert, but also has me wondering about if she is and introvert.

After you've found their type but are doubting whether they're an extrovert or an introvert, look at cognitive functions.
For instance, if you know that they're an xSFP, try to determine whether they seem to lead with Se or Fi.

I don't know why it's so important to you to get peoples' types exactly right, but I do try to type people also...
I usually try to determine what I think their four letter MBTI code might be. Then I start looking at cognitive functions. Sometimes I might first determine what their lead cognitive function might be and then work from there.
