So I've been scouring the forum looking for things to read about ESTP, but I noticed that the ESTP forum is soooo bare compared to the INFJ LOL It's crazy. I guess you guys are too busy actually having a life =)

I just have some random questions (and some are extremely random). I would appreciate any answers.

1) How do ESTP's show that they care?
2) What are some good ways to show an ESTP that you care?
3) What are some common ESTP pet-peeves? (what annoys you?)
4) Do ESTP's forgive often?
5) How do you apologize to an ESTP?
6) How does an ESTP apologize to you?
7) Do ESTP's like to cuddle?
8) Describe what a romantic evening might look like through the ESTP perspective?
9) Do ESTP's like to clean (ie: chores)?
10) Do ESTP's like to be touched? (IE: hugged, pat on the shoulder, etc..)
11) Do ESTP's ever get nervous around someone they are trying to impress?
12) How does an ESTP parent act? (Really involved in your children's life?)
13) As an ESTP, is there anything you struggle with?
14) As an ESTP, is there anything you have wanted to change about yourself (not physical)?
15) What is your biggest regret? (Do you even have any regrets?)
16) What do you love about life?
17) What do you hate about life?
18) How important are 'goals'?
19) How important are 'people' in regards to you?
20) Do you ever get emotional?
21) How important is 'acceptance' (social)?

I do have more questions, but I can't think of any for now. I'll appreciate any answers for now. Until then, I'll be checking in often for your answers. (I prefer lengthy ones with several real life examples - this is your opportunity to rant, I'm all ears <3) Thanks~!

I'll play.

1) How do ESTP's show that they care?
I'm present.

2) What are some good ways to show an ESTP that you care?
Show up. Touch me.

3) What are some common ESTP pet-peeves? (what annoys you?)
Unreliability. Dishonesty. Trying to say something with a twenty minute lead-in... GET TO THE POINT.

4) Do ESTP's forgive often?
All the time, but there's an invisible limit to how many forgives a particular person gets.

5) How do you apologize to an ESTP?
"I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?" Then, hug. Depending on the offense, the giving of space might be necessary.

6) How does an ESTP apologize to you?
"Woah, sorry." HUG. or "why are you upset by that? that doesn't even make sense. grow up/get over it/etc."

7) Do ESTP's like to cuddle?
HELL YEAH I DO.

8) Describe what a romantic evening might look like through the ESTP perspective?
Bungee jumping. edit: OKOK. Maybe a nice dinner out and a snuggle in front of a movie. Then, a proper shagging.

9) Do ESTP's like to clean (ie: chores)?
Only with a team. Do chores with me and LETS GET THIS SHIT DONE.

10) Do ESTP's like to be touched? (IE: hugged, pat on the shoulder, etc..)
INDUBITABLY!

11) Do ESTP's ever get nervous around someone they are trying to impress?
Rarely. But then again, I don't ever really "try" to impress someone. I am just myself. That's pretty impressive.

12) How does an ESTP parent act? (Really involved in your children's life?)
Not one. Don't have one. Can't help you.

13) As an ESTP, is there anything you struggle with?
Patience and extensive foresight.

14) As an ESTP, is there anything you have wanted to change about yourself (not physical)?
I wouldn't mind being a bit more organized at times.

15) What is your biggest regret? (Do you even have any regrets?)
No regrets. Lessons learned.

16) What do you love about life?
It's beauty.

17) What do you hate about life?
The same-y grind-ness that comes with it.

18) How important are 'goals'?
Very important. The game would never be won without them.

19) How important are 'people' in regards to you?
Super duper. I just loving having those folks around.

20) Do you ever get emotional?
I cried at the end of "Saving Private Ryan"

21) How important is 'acceptance' (social)?
Definitely depends on the society. But pretty damn important.

1) How do ESTP's show that they care?
I like Bean's response, "I'm present." That's exactly it.

2) What are some good ways to show an ESTP that you care?
Be present. Acts of service, working with me as we are a team. Touching.

3) What are some common ESTP pet-peeves? (what annoys you?)
Betrayal is number one on my list. Never lie to an ESTP. And I HATE doing laundry.

4) Do ESTP's forgive often?
If someone is truly sorry then yes. If they did something that broke my trust I will forgive for my own health but not be a part of them. There is no going back when trust is lost for me. I can never feel the same toward that person.

5) How do you apologize to an ESTP?
"I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?" Then, hug. Depending on the offense, the giving of space might be necessary. Agreed, but I'll add, don't do it again. I will not be a doormat for anyone.

6) How does an ESTP apologize to you?
If I truly hurt the person I have no issue recognizing my wrong and saying I am sorry. If they are just hypersensitive people, it's annoying.

7) Do ESTP's like to cuddle?
Yes. I am very cuddly with my kids.

8) Describe what a romantic evening might look like through the ESTP perspective?
Good wine and food. Walk on the beach. Good conversation with laughs. Music. Massage.

9) Do ESTP's like to clean (ie: chores)?
I don't like to clean but I refuse to live in a dirty house so I've always kept a clean home. I also have cleaning ladies which helps.

10) Do ESTP's like to be touched? (IE: hugged, pat on the shoulder, etc..)
Yes!! I like to be pursued. Not sure if this is an ESTP thing or a learned behavior I have.

11) Do ESTP's ever get nervous around someone they are trying to impress?
No, then again not many people impress me.

12) How does an ESTP parent act? (Really involved in your children's life?)
I act like a kid myself. I think I have a really good balance of switching over to the parental role. My kids know to never disrespect me, I make it very clear. I encourage them to try everything. I am always doing, this can cause frustration for an ESTPs children and spouse. However, on the flip side they really love that I do things for them. That is how I show my love. I want them to happy and productive people. My expectations for them are accordingly. I see who each one for who they are and encourage them to be their best.

13) As an ESTP, is there anything you struggle with?
Time management. Trust.

14) As an ESTP, is there anything you have wanted to change about yourself (not physical)?
Time management.

15) What is your biggest regret? (Do you even have any regrets?)
Probably not finishing out a goal.

16) What do you love about life?
The good people in it. The bad ones I can do without.

17) What do you hate about life?
Dishonest people. Fake people.

18) How important are 'goals'?
Very important but you need to have the flexibility to change them if need be.

19) How important are 'people' in regards to you?
I love people. For the people I love, "what's mine is yours."

20) Do you ever get emotional?
We all have our moments, I am less emotional than most of the women I know.

21) How important is 'acceptance' (social)?
It's less important than when I was younger. I care about what my family thinks of me. I'd rather be in charge than accepted by a group. Hopefully both.

1) How do ESTP's show that they care?
I help out with people. If they're a close friend and they need money, etc, I have no problem giving it to them. I know I'll be paid back and can trust them to follow through. I'll listen to what the person has to say and not try to intervene so much just to hear myself talk. I like to give them my full attention.

2) What are some good ways to show an ESTP that you care?
Go out and join them in doing something they like. And while you're both outside doing things, ask them questions. I'm at my best when I'm in the moment and doing something. It's like anything will pop out of my mouth during an activity.

3) What are some common ESTP pet-peeves? (what annoys you?)
Dumbass drivers and people who think the world just revolves around them.

4) Do ESTP's forgive often?
Yes, I'm a forgiver, but the relationship won't be the same as it once was. Once again, it depends on the situation. If it's someone who crossed the line and called you a name you didn't like, it's whatever. But if it's lying to me, you'll be "forgiven", but you won't be included in much, if anything at all.

5) How do you apologize to an ESTP?
Let them know that you truly feel bad and that you messed up. It takes time for me to trust you again. It all depends on the situation though. Give me a handshake too :D

6) How does an ESTP apologize to you?
Touch is key. I let them know I screwed up and that if it was truly a bad thing that I did then they have all the right in the world to still be mad at me even after apologizing. I might buy them a small gift or pay for something for them just to show I care. Sounds shallow, I know.

7) Do ESTP's like to cuddle?
Ohhhhhh YEAH! I spent an hour and a half last night cuddling with a girl by a fire. That's a long time for me to not be moving around, but I didn't care. I was with a girl I liked.

8) Describe what a romantic evening might look like through the ESTP perspective?
Witty and intelligent conversation is key. I like a nice dinner and then a movie. After that, we can hang out on the beach or take a walk in nature.

9) Do ESTP's like to clean (ie: chores)?
I don't mind it. If it has to be done, then I'll do it. As long as I have music going, I can get through a mundane task.

10) Do ESTP's like to be touched? (IE: hugged, pat on the shoulder, etc..)
Definitely. It's action. Words are nice, but to show what you mean by shaking a hand or hugging makes the interaction 10x better. Cuddling is nice too ;D

11) Do ESTP's ever get nervous around someone they are trying to impress?
If I'm really conscientious about the person and observe them, then I get distracted and can't be myself. But when I'm in control and not too concerned about the person then I can let loose and crack the jokes or make conversation. Somehow the person I'm targeting joins in and then I make her the center of my attention.

12) How does an ESTP parent act? (Really involved in your children's life?)
No idea.

13) As an ESTP, is there anything you struggle with?
When it comes to relationships and friendships, I almost feel like I have to ask personal questions when it comes to silence. I can talk about my surroundings and crack jokes all I want, but that just makes the other person seem like the audience. It's hard for me to think about questions to ask them personally because I know the answers to them already. That's a weakness of mine.

14) As an ESTP, is there anything you have wanted to change about yourself (not physical)?
I sometimes wish I could be more expressive about emotions, but then I think to myself that it's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm able to think in crisis situations and figure out how to control the crisis, as opposed to just running around and screaming.

15) What is your biggest regret? (Do you even have any regrets?)
I was a player in high school. I would date girls that I had known for quite a while and then end the relationship abruptly. I felt like a jerk because of it and would often avoid the girls to not hear what I had caused. I have apologized to them since then and are friends with them.

16) What do you love about life?
I like that you can choose what do to. You're in control of yourself and you can go out and explore the world. There are so many cultures, cities, people, and experiences waiting for you and you are the person who can make it happen.

17) What do you hate about life?
People who think life is just a one track way from being born to dying. They follow the stereotypical view of how to live. Go to school, meet a lover, get married, grow old, and die. Change it up and do something different. I've been in conflicts before with people because they don't do something the way I do it. And my way is wrong even though it works. It's those types of people who can't value people for who they are and their opinions. To sum it up, I hate narrow-minded people. :D

18) How important are 'goals'?
Goals are very important to me. I want to be successful and be well-known. But there's not a single path that leads you there. There are several ways to get to that goal. I like to be flexible about getting to that goal. Otherwise, you miss out on the good things.

19) How important are 'people' in regards to you?
There are two types of people to me. 1) there are the people who can do things with you and have fun in the moment, but not have an intimate relationship with them. And 2) There are those who you can have fun with and also be personal with. I have a handful of people from the second group that I never get tired of hanging out with and can truly be myself around. Those are the ones that are really important to me.

20) Do you ever get emotional?
Very rarely. Sometimes I hold things in and it adds up to an emotional outburst. I'm working on it, though. When I'm stressed, I get rid of it by working out - jogging or hitting the punching bag. It works wonders.
21) How important is 'acceptance' (social)?

1) How do ESTP's show that they care?
If I don't care, what happens is that I ignore them and don't pretend that I do care.

2) What are some good ways to show an ESTP that you care?
What you don't do is try and help unless it's necasarry, it's insulting otherwise. Also, genuinely care, if you don't genuinely care, I will notice. etc

3) What are some common ESTP pet-peeves? (what annoys you?)
Neuroticism, lies told because of cowardice.

4) Do ESTP's forgive often?
The invisible limit rings bells. What happens is that someone will be a dick repeatedly, and eventually they just get cut off entirely and treated with pure indifference.

5) How do you apologize to an ESTP?
Say sorry only if you're genuinely sorry. Otherwise shut up and carry on, don't worry about it, I'm not.

6) How does an ESTP apologize to you?
Skills, face to face appology usually.

7) Do ESTP's like to cuddle?
Yeah, we're pretty awesome at it.

8) Describe what a romantic evening might look like through the ESTP perspective?
Some good food out at a restaraunt, a nice relaxing moonlit walk through a park. A kiss at your door...

9) Do ESTP's like to clean (ie: chores)?
What I find is that I hate tidying and organising my living space. But if anything is dirty (there IS a difference), that will get cleaned up IMMEDIATELY.

10) Do ESTP's like to be touched? (IE: hugged, pat on the shoulder, etc..)
In general yes, but if I have no idea who you are at all, I will quietly check my pockets to make sure you haven't stolen anything.

11) Do ESTP's ever get nervous around someone they are trying to impress?
What's that 5th word? Also, I can't be bothered to conciously impress people, so it's unlikely that the 5th word ever happens to me.

12) How does an ESTP parent act? (Really involved in your children's life?)
Can't help you. I am not a parent, my dad is probably an ESTP too but we were seperated whilst I was growing up (between 6 and 18). My mum is an ISFP or something like that.

13) As an ESTP, is there anything you struggle with?
Not procrastinating.

14) As an ESTP, is there anything you have wanted to change about yourself (not physical)?
no

15) What is your biggest regret? (Do you even have any regrets?)
I don't regret anything that I can think of. It's all an experience.

16) What do you love about life?
Fire is pretty cool. But seriously, I like throwing myself into new things without looking (not fire though, that would be bad). Generally experiencing new things and the like.

17) What do you hate about life?
I've never thought about it. I do not have the time to waste.

18) How important are 'goals'?
Now that depends on the goal sir. I have general goals which I take seriously (be awesome/rich/powerful, etc). More specific goals like doing well in an exam are only important if they help me in a different goal that I do care about.

19) How important are 'people' in regards to you?
I get bored by myself. If someone needs my help what happens is that I drop everything less important and help them.

20) Do you ever get emotional?
I shed a solitary tear over the last episode of Scrubs.

21) How important is 'acceptance' (social)?
Not at all, what happens if people don't like me is that I find new people. The only exceptions are family, CLOSE friends, and people with more authority in the subject matter than myself.
