this thread is for you to post something that came out of your mouth that you're damn proud of or anything that came from you originally. it can be about anything .

i was going to write a book ( i lost interest after a few days haha) here's what i was going to open with.

"There is a difference between
the likes of you , of me.
you may or may not have noticed
I am the refugee.

I am a refugee; a mere observer dropped off here to mourn, mock, sob and scoff at the world and the inhabitants therein.
I don't trust anything here. I sleep with an eye open in fear that my mattress will intentionally give out or maybe swallow me whole.
Why would my mattress want to eat me? I'll tell you why, because we disagree on politics.
Political parties were created to cause a constant cold civil war.
I'm a member of the party that sits back, laughs and says " You're all wrong!".
I offer no real solutions, my friends, but is it my responsibility to do so? Maybe there is not a better solution out there than to simply come to the conclusion that there is no solution."

"Um, a lightyear is a measure of distance, not of time!" - Aged 9, arguing with all the other kids on my table in elementary school/junior school who tried to argue for it being time. I was unaminously opposed, as everyone agreed with time. Of course, I was eventually proved right.

Meh, I'm sure there's more, but my life seems full with arguing petty and silly points. Where is the life changing decisions, heroics, altruism, wisdom, moments I can remember to smile about and think my life has been about more than childish games? Where is the quotes where I compliment others and don't merely indulge my own ego? Ugh, I don't know. Sorry about that.

No. That's egotistical behavior and I'll have none of it. If someone else wants to quote me for some reason, fine, but the only reason I'd quote myself would be if I were trying to help someone and something I had previously said would probably be very appropriate in doing so.

Sociology paper
"...that as long as society is mesmerized by the images induced by the upper class, it will only aid in its own oppression."

For a determinism paper...
"Generations before us, decisions were made for today. Battles were fought, protests occurred, voices were silenced, while others were heard."

"There's no point in working hard if you don't believe in yourself."

"Rival those you believe to be superior, don't idolize them."

I'm sure I have more tucked away somewhere.

I've written way too many quotes of my own  I'll save a number of them for something else in the future.

I just thought these up at this time.

'' There are still meanings not seen or heard enough in this world, overlooked due to solid surface value''

‘’Inspiration is never underestimated by the strong. It drives and does not fail.’’

Oh one more for the thread...

''People get inspired, moved or simply comforted by the beauty of language. Do not make fun of another person's subjective individuality. Put the abstract beauty that you find and the sincerity from your own heart into words that pour out into avenues which connect to the world at large.''

"I'm tired of video games, television, movies, music,
fast food, sugared drinks, jumbo popcorn,
cars, clothes, trends, breast implants,
drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, coffee, antidepressants,
clubs, vacations, affairs, one night stands, pornography,
and most other simulations of a life well lived.

We are not here to be entertained.

So this one of those quotes that just came in my head while I was carrying a convo with someone i barely knew in my head:

"Everyone is a perfectionist. Most of us are able to attain it in some form or the other, while the remaining few are still looking for it. They still search for it in places that don't exist, in places that shdn't exist."

Just so you know... this is Part One of my post in this thread.

Not moi. Bandages are there for a reason. I'm more of the type that people point at their boo- boos, bandages still on and say to me "look at that, would ya? Ain't that something." Then we talk. I don't poke. I do not peel. And I do not probe.

I am polishing my dilly dally trophy with a dwadle cloth soaked in delay & stall. I just want to make sure I remain Teh Champion & in 1st place.

The royal I is much like the royal we, except it is singular. I just made it up, so don't worry about not knowing. I like the way it sounds.

So many I's, so little time.

I am attracted to introverts. That preference runs about 97.6734%.

06-21-2010, 07:40 PM:
Well, I'm with myself all day 24/7 & I swear I'm female.

10-16-2009, 02:06 PM:
I think all the 2012 hype is part of End Times Programming. I do not believe the world is to end in December 2012.

...if I'm not in the right mood, if the sun is not shining at the right angle, if the breeze is not blowing through the opened bedroom window at exactly 5.6 mph and if the right music isn't playing on the radio...... I won't even attempt to start to clean. All planets and energies must be aligned perfectly, and I must not have any physical pains going on, at that time, like a headache or stomach ache or elbow ache or leg or backache... before I will even start.

Being an INFP is very easy for me. I just live, you know. I don't seek out conflict with others. I don't really bother others. I don't try to tell others what to do. I'm very optimistic, idealistic, hopeful, positive. I had a lady at work say to everyone "I wish everyone in the world was like insert my real name here". I don't hate myself and I'm very rarely negative. I just love living and I think that has to do a lot with being an INFP. I love the beauty all around me -- there is soooo much magic! I don't push and pull on people to love me or be my friend. I don't manipulate. I LOVE the ability to not stop with the obvious and to consider 400 hundred other possibilities to a question, problem or vision. If you give me an answer, I say "That's nice" and continue on finding other possibilities. I love that I don't force things, I'm fluid, adaptable. I love that I'm open to experiences and because of that mind pattern, I have seen and experienced much of the extraordinary. I like that I'm considered "nice". I like that I mind my own business. I love that I love myself. I love that I do my own thing. I love my intuition and my self-preservation skills.... very important, ya know... proof of that is that I'm not DEAD at this age.

I am human tho and do have bad days where I do pull out the gun and shoot five times into the air (better stay away those days!) but for all the years I've lived, I'd say that's only happened 0.0392% of my life's span.

Yup, my life's mission is to be an INFP, I'm right where I should be. When I took my first breath I said to myself "I'm INFP, welcome to the world. You're going to love it".

08-10-2009, 09:29 PM: Not my quotes, but it is my post.
"Stupid people shouldn't breed"

"Never go full retard"

"we believe the results of a national poll of 1,100 people accurately reflects the beliefs of a nation of nearly 300 million citizens."

"Children are like TV sets. When they start acting weird, whack them across the head with a big rubber basketball shoe."

"Genius may have its limitations, but stupidity is not thus handicapped."

"I hope some animal never bores a hole in my head and lays its eggs in my brain, because later you might think you're having a good idea but it's just eggs hatching."

"Your heart ain't all I'm gonna EFF up!!!"

"Elvis died for your sins"

"The cotton picken road to Hell is paved with good intentions!"

Something from four years ago that I stumbled upon recently:
If you want great literature, don’t look at me. I am a dreamer: I only wish to inspire and to be inspired.

"I'd rather drown waiting for the hand of a rescuer than to cling to the nearest piece of driftwood."

Side Note on this thread: this thread isn't meant to be egotistical , i just think that every single human being has said something worth quoting at least once in their lifetime. i just don't think it's fair that only famous people get quoted, so now is our chance to share something we've said that will effect others, whether by our insight, love, hate, humor, self depreciation .. etc.
