RE: Please Help

I had started a thread regarding the MBTI and Enneagram types a few weeks ago and have recently created a chart of the information that was gathered. Although the original thread created wasn't for statistics, but rather talk about the Enneagram, I thought it would be nice to share the link for those who were interested.

This information was gathered through the information provided through the users of PerC on their profiles. It was interesting to see the results. Thanks for participating in the forum from before (if you did, of course).

I know nothing about Enneagrams, I haven't even tested but it looks like ENTPs and ENFPs are overwhelmingly type 7. So what is the significance of that?

The majority of your ENTP friends would also have this in relation to their classic ENTP personality. MBTI is more of a how (cognitive functions), whereas the Enneagram is the why. Or in a sense, MBTI is what kind of food (i.e. ice cream, yogurt, cake, etc) and the Enneagram is the flavor (i.e. vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, etc).

Thank you, that's heady stuff. It took me 2 hours of reading to intuit the difference between Ne and Ni, but Enneagram is way too shrinkey for me. But I'd love to snag a tall skinny ENFP chick in real life.
