Extroversion/Introversion is not a personality and its the way where your energy is directed is it externally or internally.

Introversion/Extroversion doesn't really mean your unsocial and it means that is yourself is inside or outside? Introvert can be have a cheerful and friendly personality but as an introverted you don't tend to show those traits and they can be seen when you are in comfortable zone so not all introvert are same.

Extrovert doesn't really means your peppy and cheerful but most of them are. Extroversion means you tend to put yourself, some serious person are extroverted but as an extrovert they tend to be commanding and control other. you just tend to expose yourself externally the way who you are.

most people have wrong connotation about Introvert and they often saying that being extrovert is better well nothing is better and its "strength and weaknesses"

see! Introverted person doesn't really mean they are negative peoples and some of them are cheerful too! and Extrovert can be serious too.

but i will break the common confusion ok!. if an Introvert or Extrovert act in opposite way it doesn't mean they are an Ambivert and the reason is "Fluctuation" but you are more the often you are.

The problem with this is that extraversion and introversion have NOTHING to do with behavior, fundamentally. Of course you can have serious extraverts and upbeat introverts, that's a no-brainer if you don't have any preconceptions of introverts/extraverts. You can't gauge this by how they are behaving - that tells you nothing about the real person (people hide behind behaviors, particularly social behaviors). I have 100% no clue where any of these stereotypes come from - probably people who have no conception of the true definition, which is rooted in Eysenck's (sp?) psychology. The only extraverts that might have a greater tendency to come off this way would be Fe doms (EXFJs), due to the people-focused nature of the function (they are the ultimate people persons, so obviously, they try not to let their negiative feellings get in the way of affecting others - of course, there could be exceptions to this rule. Dominant Ne, Se and Te are not neccessarily people-focused functions in any profoundly direct ways. Ambiversion technically doesn't exist either - no one can be 100% 50/50 because then, they would have no priorities and be dysfunctional. Introversion/extraversion is 100% psychological in nature, not behavioral. It's quite possible that a lot of extraverts may come off as more high energy and upbeat though if they neglect their inferior function enough (which is introverted for them), since this is the source of more negativity in any type. You can be energetic and be an introvert (I mean, there are so many ways people can even define what it means to be energetic anyhow, that it can't be boiled down to one thing) and a laid back extravert. People make waaay to much of I/E - it's not that big of a deal - it is what it is - it has nothing to do with your likes/dislikes about people, nor is it strictly one or the other - it falls on a spectrum. And introverts can adapt to be extraverted and get a certain threshold of stimulation out of extraverting, and vice versa with extraverts.
