Something you find funny. Anything.

INFPs I would be intrigued to discover why you randomly laugh hysterically!

Share something that you find funny. A joke, an excerpt from a novel or something you came up with would be even better! Anything in literary form. Images are fine. No Videos(unless its short and absolutely hilarious!).

Thanks!

I'm not very into stand-up comedy, but Steven Wright is funny; he makes fun of logical assumptions we commonly make. "I'm going on a walk" "How long are you gonna be gone?" "The whole time". For random humor, Cromartie High School.
So, I had a very funny day in my head today. I hope it's okay if a share some of it - because I was actually jiggling inside a lot, but it was never appropriate to share with anyone.

So first, in my job I'm part of this team of people who has been asked by our management to create this impossible application by an impossible deadline. We just have to keep working away on it until it develops to such a point that it's apparent to the management that it won't work the way they're expecting. Today a bunch of us were in a meeting in which a developer was giving us a demo of a mock up of the application. The conversation got into some of the details of how the application could work and the developer said, "Yeah, we're definitely going to need a wizard." Oh god, this is still so funny to me. I lol-ed in the meeting when no else did and just wanted to go bananas with it.

Then I was sending a request to the guy who administers our website. I always email him, but I never get to see him in person and really don't know him on a personal level. He seems like the reserved, gentle, stoic type and his name is Kyle. I was imagining doing a radio interview with him and the first question would be, "So tell us, how much are you like Kyle from South Park?" instead of something generic like, "Tell us about yourself," or whatever else. And then he would answer in a totally serious way.

And THEN I was searching for a document in one of our databases and for the first time ever I noticed the animation of the little search icon. It's a magnifying glass circling around this object. It is the sexiest search animation I've ever seen! I can't believe I never noticed how x-rated that is!

I don't know if this is the kind of thing you were looking for, but I appreciate being able to share. I hope it doesn't seem too far out in left field!

I don';t always laugh because something is funny- I actually laugh alot if I have either achieved something great, or everyone else is happy around me. Gives me a 'mission accomplished' kinda feeling, even if I havent done anything.

I also laugh at really cute things, which also gets me ALOT of weird looks from people.
I wish I knew.... sometimes when something's barely funny I just start laughing and laughing.... most times I don't laugh at anything, just smile.

my friend punching me in the stomach made me laugh....
my other friend trying to scare/surprise me got me in a 15 min giggling streak....

mostly I kill people's smalltalk jokes (parents out of town=> "having a big party this weekend?") I give them a serious answer and a stare. they aren't funny so i don't get why they do it...

I enjoy word play
"One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas I'll never know."

these types of things usually get a chuckle at least out of me while other people might groan
