"You've got a beautiful face but got nothing to say (oh)
You look famous, let's be friends and portray we possess something important"

I really like the video for this, the lyrics aren't very 3 (although it's about the illusion of a 3 being shattered?) but I like the clown/acting concept

All of this

I also saw someone post Dollhouse but I thought these songs were 3ish too

Well, I could concede it to be a 3ish Type 6 song. I agree that "I don't know who I want to be" sounds 3ish, but in the context of the lyrics it makes me think more of a 6 "I don't know what to choose" context. 3s seem less visibly afraid of finding their own path as well since the competency focus tends to result in more individually-measured metrics compared to the 6 reactive "How about this? This? This?" style.

For what it's worth, I find "Mowgli's Road" quite relatable, but my 3 fix is also second in my tritype and I'm triple attachment (the song seems 639), so that's not saying much .
Hm, I don't know how valuable it is to debate if a song is one type or another since of course a song can be relevant to multiple types and so forth...

The part of the song that makes it feel more 6ish to me is the title: I'm not sure if it is meant to but it reminds me of Mowgli needing to make the decision to join the man-village and leave the jungle...but really that makes me think of 3s soul child.

[goodness how I love this story]

The main dilemma of the song is whether or not she should follow her own judgement or just follow what other people tell her to do and be. The bolded seems like a very 6ish problem.
I guess, but it also sounds like she doesn't really know what her own judgment is anyways.

I'd contrast this with Marina's SUPER type 3 song "Oh No!"

I know exactly what I want and who I want to be
I know exactly why I walk and talk like a machine

3s know what they want, they just don't feel like much of anything themselves. Hence why Marina's character describes herself as "a machine " in the lyric; like a robot, she's only pretending to be fully human. 3 is the "I'm not an X, I just play one on TV" type.
I agree I guess; but in order to 'know what I am and what I want to be' there has to be a moment of 'I don't know what I want to be', you can't have an answer without a question. To me this song sounds like it's about someone who has always followed expectations and listened to the silver spoons, but still feels suffocated by the expectations and is thinking to question it [integration line perhaps]. It sounds...more resigned, I guess, than what I'd think of as 6ish, more like a surfacing nightmare than a constant conscious process.

This all seems more 3ish to me:

Ten silver spoons coming after me,
One life with one dream on repeat.
I imagine that 3s do feel haunted by the silver spoons...it's so important to them to meet expectations and so those expectations are such a large burden, but there's still a part of them that wants to be themselves and not have their life already written out. I mean no one wants to feel like there's a crowd of people always waiting for them to fail, which I think is one way 3 can perceive the world.

From 'silver spoons' btw I'm imagining, like, aunts and grandmothers, I don't know if that's the intended image but I'm taking the spoons as both a general symbol of civilization/wealth and the people with high expectations.

I'll escape if I try hard enough,
'Til King of the Jungle calls my bluff
Seems more 3 than 6 I think since imo 3 is a bit more conscious of a 'bluff' that could be called
You say Y-E-S to everything
Will that guarantee you a win?
I see you quoted this for 6 but I was seeing it as more 3 . . . though I suppose it could fit for any attachment type. The idea of the 'guaranteed win' is interesting to me and I was reading it as 3 because that seems to be something 3s are looking for...that 6 doesn't believe in perhaps and 9 maybe assumes is already there. Sounds like she's talking to herself in this verse? Like 'you are always doing what you're told and agreeing, do you think that in the end that will benefit you/that there's no risk to it?' which I suppose is 6 in one way but...idk

Do you think you will be good enough
To love others and to be loved?
Seems 3
'Do you think you will be good enough?' seems like the 3 question
And then 'to love others and to be loved' makes it nicer :butterfly: Marina is a bit funny to me in that I like her but sometimes it sounds like she's making music for robots so lines like this are a surprise haha

The way 'to be loved' gets all blurred out seems heart-typish to be though, like there's all this static-y shame preventing that line from being properly heard  probably over-analyzing though

Agree with Little Lotte's analysis, not much to add to it, she explained well why the song sounds more 3 to 6 even though it's 6-ish.
And it can be differently interpreted depending on who's listening, for example you seemed to be focusing on parts I never paid much attention to, I was always drawn to "To love others and to be loved" part.
I think Marina is probably 6w7 fixed?

Actually I think I read that Oh No! is like second part of this song!

Oh, that makes sense I think.

"'Til King of the Jungle calls my bluff" is the line that usually catches my attention, which does seem like an image-type fear. Haven't picked apart the whole song though.

Hmm, @Little Lotte does make a strong case for 3 with a lot of the lines I ignored. More lines in it that are 3ish than 6ish even if the 6 stuff struck me more personally. I agree the "good enough to love others and to be loved" part was distinctly 3. 6s would be off-put by the idea that you have to deserve love, as would most-non-image types. The tone/melody overall felt 6ish but 3->6 could work for that as well.

Regardless, song is a good intro to the attachment trio. You could even read a little 9 into it in their lack of personal conviction and "I do as I am told". Probably So/Sp, seems it all feels like a Sx-last dilemma as well.

Oooh ooh ooh, Enneagram 3 couple: song

(Or maybe 2w3 and 3w2)

I filed for divorce
[Come on, come on]
I'll tear apart the contract
[Come on, tear it]
We don't go together
[We're different people]
And no longer
[Will we be together]

I filed for divorce
[No, don't]
I'm tearing up the contract
[Don't tear it]
I can survive without you
[You won't survive]
I'll fly far away
[And soon you'll understand everything]

How could it be possible to so shamelessly
And so gently tear love in half?

Nikolay, Nikolay, Nikolay
I can't unlove your la li la lay
Nikolay, Nikolay, Kolya
Just sing for the soul

Well, where's my telephone
[I tossed it from the balcony]
There are all my contacts
[I hate them]
Well, what's with your head?
[I want to be with you]
We have no fate together
[I'm leaving you]

Well, where's my telephone
[Yeah, I'll return it, here]
There are all my contacts
[I'm filing for divorce]
Well, what's with your head?
[I wanted to be with you]
I can't live without you
[Our fate is not to be together]

How could it be possible to so shamelessly
And so gently tear love in half?

Nikolay, Nikolay, Nikolay
I can't unlove your la li la lay
Nikolay, Nikolay, Kolya
Just sing for the soul

And let heaven and earth sing themselves silly
It's good to live in the world, Kolya

3w2 song, individual singers I would type as 6w7 and 2w3 but for the sake of this song...

Nastya Kamenskih!
Signor Potap!

You smiled beautifully
(stepping out of the limo)
Every night you were hanging out
(in the most expensive casinos)
You managed to get past the guards at last
I saw a fur coat on you
(it was fox)
All your 32 teeth sparkled like diamonds
You are burning up from beauty, you're a glamourous fever
(Maybe sometimes it happens that I'm not right)
But that night you said these words:

However you spin it, we're not a pair, not a pair,
And for that reason it's such a drag, such a drag
However you spin it, we're not on the same road
Me and you aren't a pair, sorry!

I got a reasonable amount of money (and got your bling/pomposity)
I was hoping that soon we'd freely (address each other informally)
Just that money wasn't enough (I didn't notice the bling)
You killed my love, I'm a dead man walking
(Senti basta!)
This word is not a match for Potap
(Even if it's everything my Sicilian papa said?)
Hey, beauty? (Bella)
Why (Perché?)
Are you speaking to me not in our language?

However you spin it, we're not a pair, not a pair,
And for that reason it's such a drag, such a drag
However you spin it, we're not on the same road
Me and you aren't a pair, sorry!

I rose many levels (you were already rich)
And my office at the casino (was on the 25th floor)
I'm a solid person, not hanging onto your tooth
(Cooler than Chuck Norris?)
Even cooler than Van Damm
(When I look at you)
You look sad and funny
(Your friends left you)
You lost in the casino
Life is this kind of thing, anything can happen
Just don't measure love on money that hasn't come through yet!

I really enjoyed listening to some of the songs posted here.

Here's a song relating to threes: Beyonce's "I was here".
Cause we are stars and we are going to leave a mark in the world.

An evil type three: Scar's "Be Prepared".
I LOVE Scar - he's my favourite character in Lion King and possibly my favourite villain.
After finding out that I'm a three, I now know why I love him.

I do not love the evil in Scar but I love the charisma and fabulousness in Scar.

Read through all the posts in the thread, here are some of my additions. Lyrics in the spoilers.

"Sweet Victory" from SpongeBob
(lowkey disappointed this masterpiece wasn't posted earlier)

The winner takes all
It's the thrill of one more kill
The last one to fall
Will never sacrifice their will

Don't ever look back
On the wind closing in
The only attack
Were their wings on the wind
Oh the daydream begins

And it's sweet, sweet, sweet victory, yeah!
And it's ours for the taking
It's ours for the fight

"Wildlife" by Converge

And the wildlife was hunted not for heart but the hide
To warm the bones of cowards that were left behind
And the lotus wilts with the guilt of the wasted time
What does it say about the ones who never even tried
Under constant pressure, diamonds in the rough
Only way to light is fighting through the dirt

"The Distance" by Cake

The sun has gone down and the moon has come up
And long ago somebody left with the cup
But he's driving and striving and hugging the turns
And thinking of someone for whom he still burns
He's going the distance
He's going for speed
She's all alone
In her time of need
Because he's racing and pacing and plotting the course
He's fighting and biting and riding on his horse
He's going the distance

"A Small Victory" by Faith No More

The null of losing
Can you afford that luxury?
A sore winner
But I'll just keep my mouth shut
It shouldn't bother me
But it does
The small victories
The cankers and medallions
The lips on my face
They keep me thinking that someday
I might beat you
But I'll just keep my mouth shut
The little nothings

"Sophomore Slump or Comeback of the Year" by Fall Out Boy

Are we growing up or just going down?
It's just a matter of time until we're all found out
Take our tears, put 'em on ice
'Cause I swear I'd burn this city down to show you the light
We're the therapists pumping through your speakers
Delivering just what you need
We're well-read and poised
We're the best boys
We're the chemists who've found the formula
To make your heart swell and burst
No matter what they say, don't believe a word
'Cause I'll keep singing this lie if you'll keep believing it
I'll keep singing this lie
I'll keep singing this lie

The undercurrent of desperation in this song has always reminded me of a 3 deluding themselves:

Lyrics:
Heavy nights under city wires
Collecting electric
Sweeping moons over golden spires
A life geometric
I'm on the brink of something
And it ain't no imitation
Oh it ain't no imitation
I'm on the brink of something
It ain't no imitation
Oh it ain't no imitation
'Cause I'm giving out light like Cassiopeia
And I'm covered in white like Cassiopeia
And I'm gonna take flight like Cassiopeia
I'm gonna switch on the light like Cassiopeia
Waited for what seems an age
To feel a feeling like this
Baited breath and secret lips
I never thought it'd be so good
'Cause I'm on the brink of something
It ain't no imitation
Oh it ain't no imitation
I'm on the brink if something
It ain't no imitation
Oh it ain't no imitation
'Cause I'm giving out light like Cassiopeia
And I'm covered in white like Cassiopeia
And I'm gonna take flight like Cassiopeia
I'm gonna switch on the light like Cassiopeia
Cassiopeia
Cassio-o-peia
Brink of something
I'm on the brink of something (ey)
I'm on the brink of something (boy)
I'm on the brink of something (ey)
'Cause I'm giving out light like Cassiopeia
And I'm covered in white like Cassiopeia
And I'm gonna take flight like Cassiopeia
I'm gonna switch on the light like Cassiopeia
Cassiopeia
(I'm on the brink of something)
Cassio-o-peia

The "I'm gonna switch on the light" line especially always felt very 3-like to me.

Also think this is very 3w4:

Lyrics:
All my life, I've been fighting a war
I can't talk to you or your friends
It's not only you
My heart jumps around when I'm alluded to
This will not do
Cause I was raised up to be admired, to be noticed
But when you're withdrawn, it's the closest thing to assault when all eyes are on you
This will not do
I'm faking glory
Lick my lips, toss my hair
And turn the smile on
And the story's brand new
But I can take it from here
I'll find my own bravado
It's a switch flipped, it's a pill tipped back, it's a moon eclipse
And I can tell you that when the lights come on I'll be ready for this
It's in your bloodstream, a collision of atoms that happens before your eyes
It's a marathon run or a mountain you scaled without thinking of size
I was frightened of every little thing that I thought was out to get me down
To trip me up and laugh at me but
I learned not to want the quiet of a room with no one around to find me out
I want the applause, the approval, the things that make me go oh
It's a switch flipped, it's a pill tipped back, it's a moon eclipse
And I can tell you that when the lights come on I'll be ready for this
It's in your bloodstream, a collision of atoms that happens before your eyes
It's a marathon run or a mountain you scaled without thinking of size
I was frightened of every little thing that I thought was out to get me down
To trip me up and laugh at me but
I learned not to want the quiet of a room with no one around to find me out
I want the applause, the approval, the things that make me go oh

In general, Lorde's songs give off a very 4w3 vibe to me (though sometimes 7) so I'm not super surprised, but this one in particular struck me as very 3-like.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet or not, but imo the enneagram 3 playlist by justin_mower on Spotify, while a bit stereotypical, is pretty good as well.
