What does the gentle spirit archetype look like through the lens of Sp/So? What MBTI would tend to correlate to that?

I'm almost this combination, except I'm social first.

I'd say the escapism tendencies of the 479 will be manifested through a need for momentarily change one's material life. The sp4 is yearning for intensity and usually finds it by self-sabotaging its own ressources (at worst) or by pushing boundaries in order to reach perfection, mastery of emotional expression (at best).

That being said, the 7 and 9 in the tritype, especially the sp9, aren't particularly fond of emotional intensity and prefer enjoying life at its fullest. This will temper this 4's subtype (if main enneatype) by cultivating a need for positive experience (mainly physical) in order to relieve inner pain. Even without this tritype, the sp 4 less openly displays shame and pain than the 2 other subtypes, so having a double positive-outlook enneatype combination (7 and 9) in the tritype will tend to hammer it down even more. The key words here are a need for finding a way to express self through material manifestation and by keeping things entertaining, satisfying and peaceful. I see this particular combination being less likely to initiate drastic material changes in their life and being more content, yet still dissatisfied internally with what they have. A self-preservation 468, for example, will most likely embodies reckless behavior and impulsive decisions than a sp 479.

Also I sense this combination more prone to hide their pain under a shell of optimism and a stoic, plastic-like smile (somewhat like a 3 would do) sp 4 don't like to show emotions on a whim and this tritype pushes the tendency to glance over harsh facts and keep a fesh and positive outlook. This could end up being detrimental on the long run and could potentially leads up to substance abuse, eating disorders or drinking problems (sp 7 and sp 9 are know to numb pain by consuming earthly pleasures).

Hope this helps!

It does. To be honest, my life is a constant battle to numb my negative feelings. I’ve put on 100 extra pounds from binge eating and am a heavy alcoholic. I put out plenty of goodness and accompdations for people but mostly ever just get nastiness back, so while I’ll continue accomedating people in the hopes the kindness will make my interactions with people more pleasant when I have to be in public, I’ll just focus on avoiding people and hanging out with my poodles at the house. I make lots of money, and I’ve found money to be a better friend than any person could ever be.
