This guy is insane and I am completely jealous that he's gonna get to experience this. I'd never have the guts for such a thing. He's going to skydive in a suit from the edge of space and attempt to break the sound barrier with his body!
Pretty cool. Apparently when you jump from that high up it's dead silent. No wind rippling your suit and no noise at all. Awesomeness. You would actually slow down the longer you fell, more wind resistance as you get closer to earth makes terminal velocity smaller. I think anyway, air may not be a sufficient enough break at those speeds.
To me it seems as though if you had the balls to do it, chance are you'd be fine. With the right parachutes engineered and provided that your suit doesn't rip when you no longer are surrounded by oxygen it seems that you'd probably be okay.
I wonder how fast he will be traveling when his shoot is deployed...
