If an ENTJ told you they have a surprise in store for you, and tells you that it will happen when it happens, what does that even mean?

What is it likely to be?

I would just think "I hope they haven't bought me any useless crap."

EDIT: Oh my bad, I thought if I was given a gift by a random person.
If it's by an ENTJ, I'm pretty sure it won't be useless. :p

I can't think anyone has ever surprised me, let alone an ENTJ.

By going by the OP, I say a ring for engagement. Or trying to impregnate you. If it is a female I have no idea.

It means it's a good surprise and it'll happen when they say it'll happen.

I did this to my husband one year, when buying him a hand knapped obsidian dagger.

"I bought you something. You'll like it. No, I'm not telling you what it is beforehand. Yes, I hate surprises. Yes, I badger the hell out of you until you tell me what it is, when you're trying to surprise me. Yes, I'm well-aware that refusing to tell you is complete hypocrisy on my part. No, I have no defense. But you'll like it when it comes."

It depends if we like you or not...
To be fair though, if we don't like you, we won't bother and will say it in your face.
So, if you're in that person's good books, it's most probably something he/she knows you'll really appreciate.

Money, but it's definitely not money. So...
