I am constantly told by other women that I'm different from the rest and I think that's due to my INFPness, but I've never been able to get past the friendship point. I feel all the tension (in terms of romance) that was built up just completely dissipates, concluding with me not feeling any attachment to the other, or the other not feeling any attachment to me.

I could never understand it. It's like there's something about being an INFP that makes finding a compatible partner different from the rest. What are we known for doing that may impact another person's perception of us?

I think INFPs can slip into the habit of being shy and somewhat passive. Confidence is about the most common adjective named when you hear people, particularly females, list what is attractive to them. Maybe we INFP guys need to take a leap and be more assertive and confident (without being cocky and annoying). But I'm just speaking stereotypes here.
