Copy paste the enneagram of the ENFJ above and add your own to the list below. It would be nice to compare and contrast.

Also, I took the Headings from: Enneagram Institute: Enneagram Testing & Training

I know the headings are not exact descriptors. There are others online. Feel free to pick the ones that you feel best suit you.

I'll start

EDIT: Since I still had time to edit my post, I'm copy-pasting all the entries here:

SilentScream: 6w7 "The Buddy", 9w8 "The Mediator", 3w2 "The Charmer"

Happy about Nothing: 2w1 "The Servant" 9w1 "The Dreamer" 6w5 "The Defender"

kiwigrl: 2w3 "The Host/hostess", 9w1 "The Dreamer", 7w6 "The Entertainer"

Vivid Melody's Husband: 6w7 "The Loyal Friend," 2w1 "The Helper," 1w9 "The Idealist"

chickpeaax: 2w1 "The Servant", 9w1 "The Dreamer", 6w5 "The Defender"

Nadine M. Viores: 9w8 "The Mediator", 5w6 "The Problem Solver", 2w3 "The Host/Hostess"

SS: Momentarily derailing your thread, sorry buddy.

2w1 "The Servant"
 A real life ENFJ 2w1?! I HAVE QUESTIONS!!! I know that you are but one ENFJ 2w1 out of many so your answers won't necessarily reflect those of all who are like you, but if you would be so kind...

1) How "Servant-like" are you really? How obligated do you feel to "serve/help" people?

2) Would you do ANYTHING for a loved one, ANYTHING for an acquaintance, ANYTHING for a stranger? Where do you draw the line, if you do draw one at all?

3) How does reciprocity work for you? Do you expect nothing done for you in return? Do you expect others to do 1/10th as much for you as you do for them? 1/4? 1/3? 1/2? Equal?

4) Do you have codependent characteristics? Do you have a lot of Love Addict characteristics?

5) How forgiving are you? Are there things you wouldn't forgive?

6) How agreeable are you? For example, if one of your friends point blank told you that your political or religious opinions are "retarded" how would you respond? Would you become angry and defensive? Try and change the topic? Try and appease them? Agree with them to shut them up?

7) Would you consider yourself a masochist?

8) Would you consider yourself self-righteous? Do others?

9) How important is it for you to not offend/upset anybody or hurt their feelings?

10) How accepting of others are you?

If any of these questions are too personal, feel free to ignore them. I'm just genuinely curious about ENFJ 2w1s.

1) How "Servant-like" are you really? How obligated do you feel to "serve/help" people?

Yes, almost always. If someone comes to me looking for guidance or advice of any kind....I can't really turn them away. Even with acquaintances. People need people to listen, and I need to listen to people. In a way, it sustains me, but it overwhelms me at times.

2) Would you do ANYTHING for a loved one, ANYTHING for an acquaintance, ANYTHING for a stranger? Where do you draw the line, if you do draw one at all?

- Would I do anything for a loved one or acquaintance? It's hard for me to turn people away. I might not do ANYTHING. But I would go very far....to the point where it might be of a great inconvenience to me.

- Would I do ANYTHING for a stranger? In small ways I might put them before myself- (e.g. I'm in line at a grocery store, me and another person get to the line at the same time- I will generally insist that they go ahead). Not much more than that, however. I can be quite caustic (usually in my mind) and cold with strangers when I'm in a bad mood.

3) How does reciprocity work for you? Do you expect nothing done for you in return? Do you expect others to do 1/10th as much for you as you do for them? 1/4? 1/3? 1/2? Equal?

I can't fairly say I expect nothing in return. I don't, however, stand by keeping track of my good deeds....so long as I know the other person isn't taking advantage of me. If I suspect they are, that's when I start keeping track. If I sense that my kindness isn't at all reciprocated, I would probably be bitter. Or I would shut myself off to that person. People who keep taking are toxic to me....because I'll most likely have the desire to keep giving. So, let's go with 1/2 or 1/3.

4) Do you have codependent characteristics? Do you have a lot of Love Addict characteristics?

I can certainly relate to certain points in the codependency description....am I addicted to love? I do need love, but I don't think that it's that extreme. There have been points in my life when I've been quite healthy and independent, and other times when I was rather insecure and codependent. When I'm going through a great change or I feel as though I'm losing control of my life, I tend to become more codependent.

5) How forgiving are you? Are there things you wouldn't forgive?

I can only think of one person who (when their name comes to mind) makes me feel bitter. Generally, I'm very forgiving. However, there are times/things that I could see myself having a hard time forgiving. (e.g. Hurting someone I love) If someone intentionally hurts someone that I love, I would have a hard time forgiving them.

6) How agreeable are you? For example, if one of your friends point blank told you that your political or religious opinions are "retarded" how would you respond? Would you become angry and defensive? Try and change the topic? Try and appease them? Agree with them to shut them up?

I would become angry, yes. I would become angry if anyone said to another person, it's disrespectful.

7) Would you consider yourself a masochist?

No.

8) Would you consider yourself self-righteous? Do others?

I don't consider myself to be, and if I am it's not because I think so highly of myself. I am opinionated about what I believe to be morally right, but I'm careful in who I express my opinions to. I have been perceived as self-righteous at times.

9) How important is it for you to not offend/upset anybody or hurt their feelings?

50/50

10) How accepting of others are you?

I'd like to think I'm pretty accepting. I really do try to be.

Those titles definitely sound like me!!! I am all of those three words. Though lately I have been the mediator/ peacekeeper.
Also, I tested as 2w1 last year, but somehow I got 2w3 this time.

This is really bringing to light some of the inherent differences amongst us. I hope more people add to this ...

It's really interesting to see all the 2's, 6's, 9's and 3's.

All the women so far are 2's. Could it be that the socialization impact on ENFJ women makes them even more giving than the men?

Oh and @Vivid Melody ... now I really see why your husband and I are so similar. We're both 6w7's :) I had a feeling our Enneagram might be similar, if not the same.

Ok ... other ENFJ's please report in :) Looking forward to a complete ENFJ enneagram list soon.

Yeah, he took it last night for the first time. I thought for sure he'd come out as a 2w1 but that was his second type so I was kind of close. I never considered he'd be 6w7 but after we read it, it makes a lot of sense.

And yes, that must explain the similarities I sometimes see. Even the way you were in the video reminded me of how he is when he is nervous/reserved but I didn't want to say anything because I've brought it up too many times. And I do see differences sometimes too of course.

They have a bunch of tests listed there, which one are you guys taking?
I used the test here on PerC as an indicator and then I went through a process of self-study.

I determined mine through self-study of as many descriptions, articles I could find. It took me about a month to discover my Type 6 wing. At first I thought I was 6w5, but then I kinda started sensing some qualities that I didn't have. At the same time, I'm a counter-phobic 6 which makes it all the harder to establish my wing. In the end, I realized through my friends' assertions that I've always been the glue that held everyone together. To me that sounds a little more 6w7 than 6w5.

I took a few myself. I always come out a 5, but I usually score quite high in a few areas. Personally, I think I'm a good combination of a 5 and an 8, with several other strong areas.

I see a disparity between my secondary type and @Vivid Melody's husband's primary type. Same type, but different names. I'm not sure if I'm viewing the right page.

EDIT: My misunderstanding. Cleared up!

But yep, that's me! Great thread!

@penguinfrk Yes, I got "The Loyal Friend" title from another website (the one where he took the test) because he didn't like "The Buddy" title and SilentScream said we could use whatever one suited us best.
