I've been trying to find something to help with the biggest weakness I have in regards to my 9;
- Fear of any significant changes/disruptions in their world
- Fear of having to exert themselves in any way, of leaving their comfortable patterns
- Fear of being forced by reality to deal with their problems
And this is what I've got:
Look around you and notice what is here. Is there something that needs to be done? Is there someone who needs to be attended to? What is important in this moment, in this place? Ask yourself what is keeping your from taking care of what needs to be taken care of.
Now that's tough, I'm uncomfortable just thinking about it =/
E9 brothers and sisters, do you relate? Can you do the exercise without cringing?
The challenge is to once a day for the next 4 weeks set aside 10-15 minutes of undistracted time to write down answers to each point in a private space and get real on why you're not taking care of them. The details of what you're not taking care of should not be shared, just the result of acknowledging them, and any action you want to take if you wish.
So anyone want to join me in completing this exercise daily for 4 weeks and see what impact it has?
