Unfortunately, the specialties I am grossly overqualified for are skills I have taught myself, and not in any relation to the degree I’m getting, nor apparently realistic on a resume.Yes, specialize and then you might get hired when you grossly overqualify.
I can easily imagine potential employers' faces as they read through my hobbies, skills, and languages. *facepalm*
Come on! Do I really need any skills anyway to be a Starbucks barista or a Toys “R” Us shipping clerk?!
