Yes and no.
I would jump at a chance to date a number of the ladies on here and I truly think it would be an incredible journey. Those countless hours of talk, the smiles, the tears, and just sharing experiences together as if we're the only two people in the world.
However, I consider myself a romantic and a soul searcher. I honestly need someone that can give me everything within themselves, and I will of course give myself as well. I think a lot of people on here, of both genders, have so many inhibitors that will always be an obstacle. I can be patient and I can be understanding, but I need, what I call, a "true romantic" that values that above all else. If you are truly passionate about loving then it will allow you to overcome obstacles, fears, and allow you to push yourself to limits you could not have imagined.
I "feel", that a lot of people here may forever be a slave to fear and I hope I'm wrong, but that's an honest answer that immediately shoots the redflags up in the air for me. We all start somewhere, and I realize it takes time to get to where we''re going, but we can -all- be stubborn and cling onto things that will inevitably hold us back. I don't want anything to hold back the ability to love one another though (long term).
I'll end on a quote. I can't say I've applied it to my entire life, but I can promise you I've always done it with regards to love...
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. - Mark Twain
