Sorry for any mistakes, english is not my first language.

Questions :

1. What is beauty? What is love?

Defining what is beautiful depends on the person, but it also depends on the culture. In my opinion, beauty means order: symmetry, matching colors together, sometimes simplicity, wearing clothes related to the theme of an event. Beauty is also internal: a bright smile that comes from the heart, the feeling of a mother seeing her newborn baby, finding meaning in life …

Love is caused by brain chemistry: hormones and attraction then attachment. Love connects pairs. It compels animals to mate, but a lot people would fuck without a romantic attachment. I’ve never fell in love but I can see from other people that it brings joy and suffering. I admire the intimacy of lovers and the support given to the partner, some of them get through the obstacles further and get old and there they know each other better than anyone else and they hold special memories.

2. What are your most important values?

- Curiosity. Because I seek answers, and this will promote my growth. I want to know how systems work and how to function in society.
- Friendship. We can all agree that living alone is a burden. I am introverted, but I need sometimes to get the hell out of my shell, have someone to show me the bright side of life, someone whom I can tell my stories. Friends often support each other.

3. Do you have any sort of spiritual/religious beliefs, and why do you hold (or don't) those beliefs in the first place?

I don’t know. I believe that the brain is material and consciousness is caused by its functioning. After we completely die, there is eternal nothingness. And I don’t believe in reincarnation, it doesn’t explain the increase in population. But then there’s the idea of the soul. Is it like a wave? Is it an illusion? Can science tell us about it?

4. Opinion on war and militaries? What is power to you?

Power is about ruling people and lands and getting resources. It is best to avoid war before it happens because it brings damage and suffering on both sides. It puts people on struggle mode; they must ensure their needs and their survival. But “after the storm, the sun will shine again”, there people start rebuilding their lives and cities.

5. What have you had long conversations about? What are your interests? Why?

We talked about a game. I am interested in video games, it’s fun. We humans love to win and are afraid to lose. This is why I learn the tactics and strategies of a game, exploit the weaknesses of an opponent, and I learn from my mistakes.
I also read books, listen to music, drive fast to evade (fast when the road is empty and it’s okay), just the life of a simple guy.

6. Interested in health/medicine as a conversation topic? Are you focused on your body?

I know a lot of medications and their role.
I am particularly interested in mental health, I’ve read a lot of psychology like personality disorders.
Those days, it looks like I have the sleep-wake cycle of a vampire because of depression, I can only sleep very late.
I am not aware of my body when I am doing sports; in fact I suck at sports.

7. What do you think of daily chores?

My room looks messy, I don’t like to waste time on doing my bed, because I am going to use it to sleep the night anyway. However, I put important objects I need them every day like my keys and the remote controller of the TV at their same place to find them instantly. Before cooking, I must check if all the ingredients are available, I won’t check later while cooking if an ingredient is missing.

8. Books or films you liked? Recently read/watched or otherwise. Examples welcome.

I like “The vampire diaries”, the abilities of a vampire and the dark side of a person are interesting subjects. I like Sherlock Holmes, he uses deductive reasoning and the mysteries get unveiled. I like “The ring” (2002) it is full of mystery, made me wonder how it would end if the victims are going to die or not.
As for books, I enjoyed “The Alchemist”. I read also “The Definitive Book of Body Language”, and “Steal Like An Artist” and “The Philosophy Book” interesting.

9. What has made you cry? What has made you smile? Why?

I don’t cry when I’m upset, but I will slightly tear when I yawn because the lacrimal glands squeeze, or if my eyes are not clean then I will cry. I smile when I see someone smile, but after I understood why she/he smiled. I laugh at something funny, I don’t distribute fake smiles just to look agreeable.

10. Where do you feel: at one with the environment/a sense of belonging?

I feel safe at home. It is my comfort zone. It is familiar. There are no rules in my room. I can reflect in my room.

Evaluation & Behavior

11. What have people seen as your weaknesses? What do you dislike about yourself?

I am reserved and because I socialize a little, I have little people skills and so I lack charisma. I am not into their social games of drama, teams, harmony and pranks. I dislike that I show friends that I don’t care about them, but I do care.

12. What have people seen as your strengths? What do you like about yourself?

I’m open-minded: I would love to read/hear all presented arguments before coming to a conclusion.
I remember a lot of details about a person like their preferences and what bothers them, so I will know what their decisions might be.
My friend sees me as a good listener.
I don’t like restrictions, so I “hack” my way (legally)

13. In what areas of your life would you like help?

I would like to change my mind, let go the old ways of dealing with life, see the path, surpass my fears, dive into the challenges, learn, get things done and rise.

14. Ever feel stuck in a rut? If yes, describe the causes and your reaction to it.

I do not have a strict routine (I have some habits), though society is organized; I will have to go to school at time, and if I have an appointment I should go (a little before) or at the time…

People & Interactions

15. What qualities do you most like and dislike in other people? What types do you get along with?

I like people:
- Who keep their promises or else they must have a good explanation.
- Who consider me, understand me, people who have the same interests, qualities of a good friend, so we can get along.
Ambitious. Challenging. Inquisitive…
I hate: liars (everyone I met), gossips, fake friends that use others, people who aren’t interested in intellectual discussions…

16. How do you feel about romance/sex? What qualities do you want in a partner?

Feels like paradise to be with the significant other. I would be passionate. I will be loyal to her, I will choose a long lasting relationship.
But, I can’t find a 100% match. As our relationship progress, we will get into disputes like any other couple, we won’t have the same decisions every time. I will try to limit the misunderstandings.
The qualities I look for: optimism>pessimism, respect, trust, understanding…

17. If you were to raise a child, what would be your main concerns, what measures would you take, and why?

He has to do chores, I would want him to take responsibility, so he can be independent if I am not present and survive in a situation.
He must be well cultivated and he should train his imagination. I want him to have special skills.
I must make sure he’s mentally and physically healthy. So I will give him time and show care, I will praise him for each little success. He might get a pet.

18. A friend makes a claim that clashes with your current beliefs. What is your inward and outward reaction?

What kind of beliefs? If it’s a religious belief why would I bother. If it’s a stupid cultural belief, like believing black cats give “bad luck”, I’ll straight away correct the person.

19. Describe your relationship to society. How do you see people as a whole? What do you consider a prevalent social problem? Name one.

There are different kinds of people, but generally people are ok. I am impersonal with people other than my friends and family. I don’t feel the need to talk to them. I neglect the hell raisers. There are a lot of social problems in the society I live in, like unemployment and poverty.

20. How do you choose your friends and how do you behave around them?

I am picky. I have to find similarities. I behave like a good friend around them.

21. How do you behave around strangers?

I already answered that I am impersonal with strangers. I don’t like small talks. Some of the people get so bothered by the silence that they’ll start talking about the weather. If they want help and it’s okay I’ll serve.
