Hello! :)

I am part of the 2% (supposedly) that falls under the category of an INFP. Every few years I re-take the test to make sure that's still where I am, and it always is! :)

So, a little about me: I'm 21, a full time student and I work part time as a librarian. I'm majoring in Literature with a concentration in critical writing. I love to read and analyze literature and especially talk about it! I'm also interested in psychology (specifically everything about Carl Jung/personality). I dabble in some occult interests such as tarot reading and astrology. I'm very into feminism as well (intersectionality or bust). I love to learn and consider myself a lifetime learner.

I'm very introverted and suffer from great social anxiety. I went to a two year community college and didn't speak to a soul, except when forced to during group assignments. I'm in a university now and still struggling with making friends. When I do make a friend, it's a rare occurrence and we usually have tons in common and are like soul mates - anything less than that I probably lose interest in or just doesn't "click".

I'm also a writer, I write poetry mostly. It's pretty much my only 'creative' outlet but I'd love to expand that to longer things, like stories, but I find it difficult to put myself to that task.

Anyway, that's me! <3 I hope to learn lots more about INFPs here!

Hello and welcome :)
Always nice to see new people around here, I'm especially interested in INFPs after getting to know a few of them
The others seemed more like dreamers though, not that interested in learning facts, but pondering more abstract thoughts

Hello there :D INFPs are amongst the loveliest people out there in my opinion :) It's very nice to see people these days passionate about literature, keeping the flame of poetry still bright. I hope you get to have a great time around here here and find what you're looking for.

Welcome Mermaidfins :)

I am an INFP as well and also new here. Have you found it difficult to complete tasks? I have so very many projects I have started that are sitting around half finished. I have so many ideas that circle around in my mind. I find myself very excited and enthusiastic at the beginning, only to lose the energy to complete them.

I find that I am fairly social even though I am an introvert. My issue is in large groups of people, when it is loud and I do know anyone. I find I have severe anxiety in those types of situations. If I am with someone I know well, I feel better.

I have found coping methods to deal with the anxiety. A lot of it is internal dialog I have with myself and working myself up to deal with the impending social situation. I am sure you will get there too!

Lovely to meet you. :)
