After a great run, these are the four that will be running for your next moderator. These members have all proven that they are active, helpful, and appeal to the members. Please vote for the person you believe will be best suit the moderator role.

I am so tempted to vote, but that is not ethical considering I am on the ballot.

If elected, I would consider everyone's opinions in high esteem. If not elected, I would like to assist the elected moderator in any difficult adjudications. As far as I am concerned, I'm simply happy to have been nominated. Thanks everyone (even those who didn't nominate me - Grr..).

Rhetoric was never my strong suit, but I would love to be elected. I'm great at seeing all sides of an argument, and hold fairness in the highest regard. My approach would be quite a bit like Lance's. If for whatever reason I'm not, I'll always be around to help out anyone with questions or aid in settling disputes to the best of my ability.

NephilimAzrael, I see no reason why those of us who are running should not be allowed to vote like anyone else, as long as we are sincerely voting according to our beliefs.

To all who nominated me, thanks for your support. Whether I win or not, I feel the love.

For the sake of fairness.. A nominee really ought not to vote. This being that due to anonymity, they may vote for themselves, and even one vote can turn the election. Hence why I would not vote for either myself or my fellow nominees. It comes down to a matter of ethics.

You can vote for yourself. I don't believe it is unethical.

I do think its unethical. I do not plan on making any vote whatsoever Lance.. The problem I see with doing so is that as a nominee I should not be involved in the electoral process, candidates ought not partake, as they have been nominated by the members, and are elected by the members. The candidates will be as much affected by the results as the members, but in being a candidate, the position is potentially all of theirs' until the results have been revealed and thus partaking in the vote is affective of the results. Simple. With such a small community, the activity of casting a vote is not good practice for a candidate.

I don't really care for the competition as such anymore, I will maintain my stance.

If the other nominees vote, and if you, NephilimAzrael, are the only one adhering to rules that differ from the rules the rest of us agree are appropriate for this game, then you are going to be unnecessarily limited, creating exactly the kind of imbalance you hope to avoid. I respect your integrity, but in this case, you have bound yourself to rules that even Lance does not feel are necessary. If the others post here and say that I am the only one who has voted for myself, I will request that Lance remove one vote from my total score at the end, because I want us all to be playing by the same rules, whichever rules we collectively decide are fair.

In the U.S., presidents can vote themselves into office so the same rules apply in this forum.

I didn't know the Mad Hatter was an option, or I would have been right with you on that one!

That cat is not dependable, and he always causes trouble! I can't believe he won!

I voted for Trope, but Neph would be a good choice too. They both seem level-headed enough and not prone to make rash decisions based on emotion. That's my opinion.
