I don't know about anyone else, but I've always loved finding quotes that I can relate to and the ones that apply to my life. I thought it'd be interesting for us to share them and see if any of them have similar themes in them.
Here are just a few of mine.
"When you will not fly into a passion, people know that you are stronger than they are, because you are strong enough to hold in your rage, and they are not, and they say stupid things they wish they hadn't said afterward. There's nothing so strong as rage, except what makes you hold it in--that's stronger. It's a good thing not to answer your enemies." ~Frances Hodgson Burnett, A Little Princess
"The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward." ~Steve Maraboli
"I used to think that if I left out details, that people could relate more, but I don't think that's the case. The more you let people in, the more they feel let in, and the more they feel like we all share something." ~Taylor Swift
"I gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which I must stop and look fear in the face. I say to myself, 'I've lived through this. I can take the next thing that comes along.'" ~Eleanor Roosevelt
