What do INFP's like to talk about?
Personally, i like philisophy and fanatical topics...metaphysics, quantum physics, hermetics, esoteric, spirituality...im sure theres more...as long as its not that kind of chit chat talking...not too many people to get into intellectual discussions with tho...at least not where i am.

Serious topics like ethics, philosophies, politics, history (all in broad sense). I have plenty of other interests but things like that make the best conversations, unless you have some specific interest in common that you can talk deeply about. And yes, I don't have much time/patience for small-talk, celebrity gossip, trends/fashion, or things like that.

Mainly the Kardashians.... jk.

Any good hypothetical subjects, history, board games, video games, music, food. Food competition shows (that would be a weird thing to say 15 years ago). If everybody in the conversation is mature enough; politics (from a theoretical/philosophical sense).

Also anything people are passionate about, I like talking about that. Doesn't matter the subject, although if say celebrities I'll have to swallow my pride haha. Whenever I see a celeb magazine or hear people talking about them, I think to myself "Oh Alexander the Great, you jerk :)

I talk about recent experiences & moods the most because that's something everyone is willing to talk about, and something everyone will have a story or opinion about. :)
I like deep topics but I find it weird getting to deep to fast with people who I don't consider myself close with, do I tend to stay away from those topics with the general public.

if it's someone i'm just starting to get to know i usually just ask them zillions of questions about themselves kind of instinctively i don't know why. also tend to go on impassioned rants about critical theory and emotions and the concept of God, or some random documentary on netflix that freaked me out or music or books or how tired i am.

This is an exhaustive list i don't enjoy interacting much with people these days

@harpseal ....oh i forgot about documentaries!! i love documentaries. I also do not enjoy interacting with people that much. Not in person anyway. I have to admit most of my personal relationships are superficial. Skin deep...no connection. There may be 3 or 4 people that i actually feel connected to and that i can be around for extended periods of time.

I like to discuss a huge variety of subjects, religion and spirituality, politics, various arts, history, games of various types, psychology, anthropology, sociology, physics, possible futures, improbable pasts. I don't like to talk about superficial fluff though, I can't find a single fuck to give about Honey Boo Boo, the Cardassians etc. Lifes too short to even waste one moment on that.

I mostly enjoy talking about random things. I like to be posed a question like -What would be your method if you were locked in a room with a hippo and you had half an hour to get it into a tutu?

I like to seriously contemplate on silly, unrealistic scenarios.

I do occasionally like talking about philosophy but not for too long cause I get bored. I love talking about life experiences so long as they're unusual and/or funny. I don't like to talk about personal emotional stuff cause they're just awkward to speak about openly. Which is why I tend to feel awkward around Fe doms when they're upset but that's a topic for another thread.

I don't like talking really. If *forced*, I guess I'll listen to what the other person is saying and go from there. Interestingly to me, if you analyze my close to 10,000 posts, there is NO DOUBT I talk about myself, incessantly. At home, with husband, sheesh.... it's everything under the sun. I guess it depends!, but a definite preference is not a lot of talking, in the first place.

Well same until I get a crush, then i talk about them a lot more than I do myself. Though when I'm talking to other people generally I have to sometimes involve them more in the conversation!

My number one most favourite conversation style is improv. Like improv comedy, but... sat down. ^_^

Sometimes it's a poetic journey to the stars. Other times, comedy sketches. The randomness amuses me a lot. ^^ Together we imagine and live in our story of surprises.

Second favourite would be hypothesising and inventing random theories. Sometimes I'll share it and immediately change it. I like finding questions more than finding answers.

I love talking about feelings, my feelings or their feelings or how someone else might feel (people or animals or stuffed toys). Sharing tips on how to relax. ^^ Sharing ideas about how feelings work.

Oh no, don't ask me this cause the list won't end

Human potential
The life story of whoever is sitting in front of me
Philosophy
Psychology
Biology
Quantum physics
Literature
Cinema
Spirituality
Esoteric topics
Religion(s of the world)
Tv shows
What's happening in the world/The news/Politics (but it depresses me quickly)
Animal rights (again, depresses me quickly and need to change the subject for mental health purposes)
Humans rights (see above)
Queer issues/LGBTQ
History
Mythology
The lives of the people around me: family, friends, acquaintances... their love life, their jobs, anything they want to talk about
Journaling, scrapbooking, crafts
And most of all hyperbolic conversation. THE. BEST. And hardcore sarcasm. I can go at it for hours and hours
