My absolute favorite would be comedy but I'll watch movies from any genre if it looks good to me.

What is it that leads you to the conclusion that many "grown men" are on this site?
Anybody capable of actually participating on this forum should not be watching My Little Pony. Not even women.

I suppose we ought to add diapers to the PerC store inventory.

i wanted to vote for tragedies but wasn't an option. like cronicas, requiem for a dream, and habla con ella. drama was the closest thing

Action, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Psychological Thriller, Science Fiction
You obviously also liked "The Departed" as well, judging by your avatar. That is one of my favorite movies.

Quote:

Bartender: What are you drinking?

Leo: Cranberry juice.

Thug: What are you, on your period or something? My wife drinks cranberry juice when she's on her period.

Man that movie was classic

It really depends on the movie. Plus there are many variations within each veriety. One brilliant film of a certain veriety can make a whole genre something I love, as I would then think of it as a genre with lots of unreached potential.

Crime, Horror, Mystery, Suspense. Is this really a surprise? ;)

I love horror movies. I raised my sons on horror movie night. It was a blast. Lots of snacks and drinks, everyone is allowed to make jokes, insulting characters choice of shoes to run in was encouraged, and if you caught a mess up (like a boom in the shot) you called it and got points.
Kids can learn morals in horror movies:
don't do drugs.........or you'll die
don't have sex........or you'll die
don't be nasty to others.....or you'll die
don't be a girl with high heels.....or you'll die
etc.

We liked other types of movies too but horror movies are our favorites.
