I expect your Ne means you are usually taking up new hobbies and interests.

Are there any that have held your interest for a lot longer than usual and if so, why do you think that is?

Puzzles, whether they are physical or mental. I've noticed that I don't grow bored of things which continue to remain somewhat of a mystery to me and leave room for speculations. Actually, personality types and cognitive functions have kept me interested for some time now since I feel like there is always something new to learn every day, new people to type, new theories about it, etc. Stuff like that.

The answer to the question "Why?" is simply because it's interesting.
I was curious about what made it interesting. Like because it of new possibilities.

Things that stay challenging, and that always offer more to learn and perfect. Those are the things that can actually hold my interest.

Oh god... here's the problem. There are very few things that hold my interest, and they all involve learning/constantly improving. But those very few things can really add up. So now they include (but not limited to): drawing/painting, singing, studying advertising, building design, writing, blogging, photo-editing, modeling, studying psychology/human behavior, cooking, fashion, volunteering, and web coding.

All of these things actually interest me and can keep my attention for a fairly long time, but the problem is I like to mix things up and I really don't have time to do all of these things, but I don't want to lose any of those skills so I have this problem of never really doing one thing for more than a month at a time. x_x

I've been involved in theater for several years now. I think the fact that it changes so much is why I've stayed interested. Theater is basically ENFP central, and since they use Ne a lot to they also like things to change constantly. There's always a new show to do, a new exercise to try, a new game to play. It isn't repetitive but it's something I don't have to think about joining in on.
That's typically the kind of stuff I stick with, things that are a little bit different every time.

1. Drawing because I just like it.
2. Internet/Looking up things because I can always learn something new.
3. Music because there's a grand piano in my house and I just can't leave it alone xD
4. Fashion because I can't walk around naked, can I?
5. People because they have minds on their own  Even ppl who seem simple-minded can be interesting for a short time....
Generally things with which I'm confronted everyday will keep my interest for a long time. I love trying other things though such as sewing, writing, games, languages, etc.
