Well this is the inTj forum so I'm not sure how many infj respones you're gonna get XD

I personally seem to attract ESFP's. Both for friendships and romantically (although romantically it usually goes no where since I'm not particularly keen on keeping up with them.)

Oh, I see how it is.

Just kidding! lol-- it's still a good question, as far as it goes for us cold, socially inept INTJs.

Only one person has ever been romantically attracted to me (to my knowledge), and he was also INTJ.

I haven't typed many of them, but for some reason there are certain types of extroverts-- possibly ENFJs or ENFPs-- who fall in love with me (not romantically-- they're all girls). I seem to hold a certain fascination for some types. I have no idea why.

There are two types of men that are attracted to me:

First kind:

(commonly NTs... sorry about the generalisation)

The men that are highly successful in what ever various field they have chosen. I have had lawyers, accountants, engineers, and psychologists chase me. They are normally very highly confident men, and think they have figured me all out...

What they have in common is they usually high on the Asperger's/Autistic scale and generally have some mental illness- Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Borderline, Multiple Personality Disorder, Narcissism, and Associative disorder.

They all tell me I make them feel normal, at ease. That I am a homecoming.

The second kind of man that is attracted to me:

(NFs... again sorry for the generalisation)

Usually the very clingy artsy kind of man that thinks I will save them from the world. They wish to be entertained by me constantly and give them all the security they need. They think I am some sort of power house of strength and stability. They are attracted to the 'I am a scary INTJ woman' vibe I can sometimes give off. They think they like what they see but when they get to know me I think they feel let down more than anything. I am far too much for them to handle with my need for space and solitude and lack of emotional nurturing.

These men are often very depressive and anxious and always clingy.

Out of the two I prefer the Aspie NT range of man. I like that they are more driven and successful, I can deal with quirks but I can't deal with clingy emotional men.

INFP: Emotionally unstable and admired me for my strength and determination. I ended it because he betrayed my trust.
ENFP: Emotionally unstable and admired me for my strength, intelligence, and determination. Still wants to fuck me. We never dated.
ESTP: Had an addiction to working out and liked that I wasn't very emotional. I left him because he was shallow.
ENFP: Couldn't handle the "intensity of my emotions" and left because the distance was too much for him.
ESTJ: Admired my intelligence and didn't want to "tie me down". It was a cop out, he was just a dishonest man who was disrespectful toward women. I wish him the best in his future shitty marriage though. I broke up with him for telling me to "shut the fuck up".
ENTP: Emotionally unstable, Disrespectful, Insecure, Selfish, and in denial of his behavior. He did not let me have my space while I was very ill. He broke up with me because he thought I was ignoring him when I asked him for some space. He also disrespected all the boundaries I set out.

Shit... this makes me want to stop dating all together after reflecting back on this list.

INTJ is not on the list yet, and the purely awesome Dread Pirate Roberts type of INTJ is definitely not on the list, so There is still hope!!!!

I attract NFs usually....(within that) the kind who are stupid enough to chase me.

I do attract NT's too but they are usually too scared to chase me in case they catch me.

Thus far...
ISTJ (who mistyped himself as INTJ) Would have been great if he wasn't sexist and violent....or never happened:wink:
ENFP (worst relationship EVER, can never wash the stupid out) My god if there was a time machine and a light sabre handy......
INFJ (the best relationship apart from his inability to read me and impulsive feeling urges.) Impossible romance ideals to live up to.

people from dating sites often type as NF and want to chase me.....gah....I can't be the man in the relationship by my thinking style if I am not allowed to act like one......it's backwards and filled with double standards.....I recognise it....why can't they?

-ISFJ: That went suprizingly smooth, in a clingy, co-dependent way. Fell apart when she developed borderline
-ESFJ: Unfortunately, this little lady was more or less retarded. Incredibly hot though.
-INFJ: So far off from the real world that we couldn't talk. Totally irrational and impossible in her demands of me
-ENFJ: Went reasonably okay until she expected me to be one of her braindead ESXX friends. No, I do not like going to overcrowded bars and have people throw beer at eachother. Deal with it.

Your talent for stating the obvious is stunning. I would like to point out that I did date one non-ill girl.

The trick would be to make sure you figure out which girls are ill before you start the relationship...

I'd like to use this profound talent again to say maybe you should've done that beforehand

Why are mentally ill people attracted to INTJs anyway ?

First begin with yourself.....why do you seem to like us so much? That might help answer your own question.

Most of the people I've liked have seemed to have one similar quality. They were breathing. That's not to say I wouldn't get involved with a vampire if we meshed, but I couldn't see myself with a zombie.

In fact, aside from a weekend with Mata Hari's corpse, all the people I've liked have had a pulse too.
