I think that the question is very clear.
What kinf of risks I should take to be a better INTP?
I'd really love to hear your thoughts and maybe your experiences.
AND PLEASE feel free to send me a private message if you don't wanna go public.

Are you talking about developing your non-preferred cognitive functions? Or something else? I don't see why being a better INTP requires any risks.

I don't think there's a checklist or anything. And define better?

But if I had to give any advice it would be this;

- Try to agree to at least one social activity per week - not just meeting up with people, but meeting up to do something. a concert, a new restaurant or some other activity.

- travel, alone, to recharge. It'll bring out the best in you if you are anything like me. Its the perfect mixture of alone time to recharge paired with being away from your creature comforts and regular routine - it gives you impetus to do things but you get to do those things on your own terms. Hard to explain but suffice it to say that I try to travel alone for at least one week per year.

Don't be afraid in learning new things.

For example.
My driveshaft on my car broke.
It needs a new CV joint.
Instead of paying $600 for them to install a new driveshaft, I paid $31.50 for a new CV Joint.
Do I know how to rebuild a driveshaft?
No.
But you better believe I'm gonna learn, and I'm not in the least bit concerned I wont be able to do it.

THAT'S a good example.

If you do this wrong a driveshaft coming loose at speed can take out all sorts of additional goodies down there including your feet.

I'd rather shit in my hands and clap.

And I'd rather storm the beaches of Normandy in a wheelchair than spend $600 on something I could do myself for $31 bucks.
Imagine if you did lose you feet. I think about this sometimes...I'd save a small fortune on socks alone.

I'd also displace less hot water in the bathtub and be able to soak right up to my neck without bending my knees.

Talk to feelers and at least consider the validity of what they say. There is a whole world of human existence that’s easy for us to miss. I have found that they will eagerly tell you all kinds of things if they feel that you won’t correct them. Everything doesn’t have to make sense, as hard as that is to accept.

This thread has opened my mind to the benefits of voluntary limb amputation.

Oh, also another suggestion on "INTP risks to take":

Just ask her out.

Because I suspect a whole bunch of INTP dweebs looking for guidance in this thread will have this situation in the background.

Well...stay hydrated, exercise, don't forget your cool-down stretches, pay your taxes, have something in a savings account, call your parents on weekends...you tell me. *shrugs*
